Tanker's Day in TO

This topic is a mess.

Crying kids because they think this sale is not enough.

Mods and wannabe-Mods trying to help Semyon while only making it worse (especially the Mods, but hey, they get paid in crystals so they don't care about sales)

People who think they know how the game-economy works, while they actually don't.

People responding to other people who have a different opinion with non-irrelevant posts instead of actually responding to what the person was saying (learn to read, please. And stop with your useless pictures, can't you think of something normal to say?)

Nobody who fits in these groups is going to change his opinion so stop this useless arguing.

Semyon, it's the best to simply close this topic. Just let the people who can, enjoy these sales. Those who can't, let them move on with their life, since nothing is going to change by complaining.

Let us pay for it, that you i to the first big rebalance I paid regularly. But since then no. You know that for what tank?

The 1. Because we are small investors at you. If there are not economic stability, a guarantee that the bought product is worth so much following day, we do not invest then!

The 2. Let us pay for you to modify the game conditions unilaterally tomorrow. that is take a pull!

The 3. No! We will not give paying to you because of this - your neglectful work! Because we do not expect this from you for our money!

The 4. You work very expensively! There is an expensive game like this nowhere yet on the world! But you want increasingly more and more! You force us with vile devices, that in vest in! This is not the habit in Europe at us!

Bring back the drops if you respect us yet. while they were your game was playable... since then boring!

I'll honestly defer to the expertise of our capitalism experts above and see what they have to saypopcorn-and-drink-smiley-emoticon.gif

Do you honestly believe anyone to expect you pay such a high rate to exchange dollars or euros for rubles that everyone outside of the RF must pay a ridiculous premium for crystals?

This isn't 1980 when the Soviet Union was isolated from the world and the ruble then was completely worthless outside of the USSR.

I have a strong feeling we, the rest of the world are 2nd rate customers and must pay higher. For probably no reason but price discrimination.

If that rest of the world are players outside Russia, then yes. But we said that couple of hundreds of times....

Ok hold up, first of all i was referring to the sales ingame, not sales that require you to buy with real money, of course every game economy is different but out of all tanki is the most fairest

Yeah, but, if you don't have enough crystals you can buy more. None of those Minecraft servers requires a penny from players, and, playing the mini-games rewards you with a similar in-game currency similar to other F2P games such as WoS, WoT, etc. Just like Tanki those coins/gems can also be converted over time to ranks and other items - whether a person directly pays for them or earns them is irrelevant to the sales.

I will try to buy Loam... I really need the fire protection. I am several thousand crys short, but should be able to earn the difference in two days.

I bought M0 Thunder and Firebird last night for peanuts. I can't afford to upgrade them to M3 since I already dropped crystals on Jackhammer.

I'm surprised that the sale is not 50% but I am not enraged by it. Like I said my crystal stash is already spent. I would have thought this sale would be structured in such a way to encourage players to dump crystals into their garage, which in my opinion would have indicated a 60% sale... Better than last year but not significantly so. Anyway, I'm pretty confident that many players have been crystal hoarding since the June sale, and the initially generous daily missions added to these stockpiles. In my opinion, a slightly better sale would have players emptying their supply into the game. Assuming there is a concern with players having received too many crystals. If the concern is revenue, I understand the 40% approach, but I think the timing is off given that most players already have that mountain of crystals. Better to drain that supply with a good sale and then make future freebies harder to come by.

It's all about perception. Tanki' last three moves have been heavily and widely panned in the forums.

1-Nerf of Daily Missions - once with a notice, and recently again with no explanation.

2-Score Caps. Well-intentioned change communicated AFTER the change was made with no opportunity to test. Caps themselves were not well thought through.

3-Tanker's Day Sale. Loads of folks unhappy with the less than last year approach to percentages and offerings.

Good thing Tanki is not playing baseball, because this looks like three strikes.

Tanki needs a win now, even if only a PR one.

Yes but they have the funds to support it, remember tanki started from scratch

Yes, I will be unable to get the combo I wanted (M2 Dictator and Thunder) but it's not the end of the world. It could've been 25%, or they could've chosen to have no sale at all (although that is unlikely). And yes, while this isn't your typical free online game, we should still be thankful for any major discounts and promotions we are given, even if they aren't what we hoped for.

yes, i do realize now that they couldn't have 50%, or else the balance would be terrible :D

40% NOOOO why can't you do 10% more! Now I can't get M2 Hornet and loads of other Tankers have been expected. So much for ''Tanker's Day''. Next time, ask us how much discount we want in a poll for the next sale.

be grateful it is not like the first one

stop whining now

goes from 25%-50%-50%-40%.. you should be happy it is as high of a sale as it is now. if this was before the first tankmans sale you would learn a sale never existed here for the most part

The maximum price of a tank in 2012 was 70,000 crystals.

How much is the maximum price now? Easily 2.5 million.

All of your arguments are so easy to shoot down - it's like shooting animals in a zoo with a nuclear weapon.
