Haven't been on TO for a while and just stopped by for Tankmen's Day..... but what is this? I know Tanki has been cutting back in the amount of sales for a couple years now but what? There has always been a 50% at New Years, Tanki's B-Day and Tankman's day. But 40? Has 50%s become too cool for TO?

 

I guess I'll just buy Emerald. Been wanting it for a while and I guess this might be the best sale for a long time... man I plan out my purchases. It's so hard to earn crystals these days.... at least I don't need to buy anything else until General which is a ways off so I can compromise a little. But still. Those extra crystals could of gone to MU's or another paint... such a shame TO

Dude there where 97 events that where discounts, double funds etc last year. This year tanki online realised that in 2014 too many sales etc where given and they broke the economy so they now decreased amount of sales discounts etc for this year and you and others mad and downvoting cause you got too used to last years sales etc and now you think it will be like last year. You do realize that 70% of those do not effect your average player right? And that quantity doesn't mean quality? Sure it's nice to have a 50% off Hornet or Railgun but what if I don't like those? I'm just left in the dark waiting for a 50% off all the items I want because they may not be mainstream enough to get it's own individual sale? 50% off ALL ITEMS(talking about if it's a sale all turrets, hulls paints etc. Not talking about all garage wide sales. Those don't happen anymore and even when they did it was on a special occasion like today) benefit ALL players not just some. Even 25% off all items. Sure they are good but M3s and high quality paints are very expensive and 25% doesn't cut it. We NEED 50%s. 

 

It's not our fault that Tanki decided to give us a couple 25% sales in short succession rather then one 50% in twice the amount of time. As you may know you cannot buy one item twice so two 25%s are worthless. 

 

We cannot be blamed nor punished for TO making stupid decisions in the past. And don't start talking about economy. Have you been n a battle and looked at the fund? It rises as much as a glacier moves and things are expensive

I'm not asking for a huge sale every time. All that I'm saying is a cut back in small, rather pointless sales and focus on larger, more important ones(such as today) if that's the problem

TO has multi-day sale to avoid this. If turrets, hulls, and paints were 40% on the same day, you would have an extra 40% discount on kits. By doing only one item discounted on a day, you get an extra 40% on that 1 item, so you can either discount the turret, hull, or paint by 40% extra, but not more than one item.

 

The way the extra discount works everywhere is by discounting the discounted price, not by adding the discounts. For example, if there was one thing discounted by 50% and it was discounted with an extra 50%, it does not become free.

 

1000 crystal regular price discounted 50% = 500 crystals.

Extra 50% discount:

500 crystals discounted by 50% = 250.

 

So, you multiply. 0.5 * 0.5 = 0.25 of regular price = 75% off, not 100% off.

 

For double 40% sale:

 

0.6 * 0.6 = 0.36 = 64%off, not 80% off.

I like the 40% sale, but i was really annoyed because some MODERATORS have spread rumors that the sales were 50%. 

 

They should be fined 40% of their pay for the next month.
