Bought Loam on the paint sale. Just managed to scratch up the crystals for it on 40% thanks to a high yield from winning a 60 minute Polygon TDM match.

 

Whew! Now I am broke, but I managed to squeeze something from this sale.

OP kits?

Don't say that you don't buy kits..(at least I always do)...being able to buy a kit (for a non-buyer) depends on how wisely he uses his crystal..

If i recklessly spend crystals on non-productive things, then ofc I will be short of crystals...so, I should use them wisely..isnt it?

MUs - the same point...I always MU my gear..does it mean I buy? No!

If you argue that the buyers are able to MU quickly...then tell what role does the time play on this game? Nothing...you can take 10years to do your MUs...no one would object...why to spend on speed ups...just wait for a few days..how much does it matter?

 

And, at the end of the day, a buyer HAS TO HAVE atleast some advantage over a non-buyer...then what do expect, why will a buyer pay?

And if we don't have any buyers in the game, then we ourselves wouldn't be in this game...understanding me?

Oh please! Theres no way I could get a kit, unless I would not get anything for a year. I do not waste recklessly and save a lot, and yet do not even have half of what a kit in these ranks costs.

You know MU sales are needed and that kits are expensive, which makes these things buyer friendly. You cannot deny these things, and if you do, well thats on you to not realize these things.

Bro I already said that some sort of margin IS NEEDED, however this margin can get too big when they do not add these types of sales, etc.

Theres no reason to debate this, when it is rather obvious. This is just one issue with Tanki. Its good to point them out so they realize whats going wrong.

Hey that looks like the hull I use. I swear mine is made of paper most of the time. Especially when people with m2's can withstand more damage then me. 

Seriously! There are times when I feel my tank is made of paper even with a DA pickup. There's just no way an M3 Hornet with DA should be popped with a single shot from any tank.

 

Earlier today it was like that in Rio.

 

Then other times it's the opposite - I can withstand massive attacks and seem to escape unharmed.

What started this mess is mod named PC-JACK posted on Tanki's Facebook page that there would be a 50% sale for September 13. PC-JACK has been here many years assisting Tanki on the forums and on Facebook. I saved a screenshot of this before they deleted the post.

 

So, naturally, it spread among everyone that there would be a 50% sale (also considering that in 2013 and 2014 this was true as well).

I heared they introduced additional daily missions that give less of a challange / are less time consuming. This to "help" players that can not spend more time per day in the game.

Unfortunately this effects all other players as well, as this small missions reduce the average income per mission.

 

What a coincidence.

 

Would be really cool if we could decide if we like to change to a long or short mission each time we hit the change button..

If your mission takes 1 hour, and you want to spend on it 1/2 an hour, then do half the stupid mission and complete it on another day. Why do you have to screw up with everyone else?

well,I'll be honest,40-50% doesn't make much difference to me,it's better to have 40% then 0%,although devs,gave us 50%+ discounts in many ocassions in past and players got used to it..spended more then 1 000 000 crystals during 2 days (2,yes,because I allready have all m3 hulls,so got nothing to buy in saturday) to complete my garage with all m3 items (bought vulcan&shaft m0-m3) and few paints..thing that pisses me of is the fact that devs "forgot" to throw in MUs..I mean,seriouslly,MU discounts are so rare..why not on this event?..even if only 40% off..people would be much more satisfied..especially old players (read:gismos) who more or less got nothing else to "upgrade"..was that so hard to offer?

well you've done it now tanki. between your lame-ass sale that didn't even have me bothering to buy anything on this account, and your cheap-ass failure to do a sale of MU's that had me not buying anything during the sale on my big account. And now my latest daily missions are huge grinds for a couple of stupid drugs. I think now it's time to say goodbye. 

 

I bought a few times on my big account, you probably made a few hundred US$ off me. but no more. I don't think I'm even going to be around to SEE the new unity tanki, because of how lame and greedy you become, I just don't see the point. I'll be blocking your URL at my modem after this, and don't expect to be logging in again to remove the block...

 

so... enjoy your crappy overpriced website guys. if I decide to spend hundreds of dollars to play a game in future, it'll be proper games I just buy upfront, then can play however I want, rather than some lame pay to avoid having to grind freemium model.. I could own outright a couple more AAA games for the money I spent upgrading my main account equipment, only to have you nerf it with rebalances that make other items more powerful, and try to force me to buy even more MU's at full price, or grind on for the next 6 months to earn crystals..

 

hope all tanki programmers can get other jobs when the unity game fails due to regular players being sick of getting wallet raped by you greedy-ass losers.

Sorry to hear that, the game has become a spoilt economy for the players who spend real money, but i think in the unity version they are planning to reorganise the game economy, so i would see that version first before deciding to quit, you might not regret it  ;)
