This is a great idea.  It gets money from players who have played a long time.  Even if they own the turret they will want a new shiny one and buy microupgrades to make it competitive.  It does this without giving an advantage.  Keep up the good work.

With today’s update we’ve added 4 new XT items to the game. From now on, Tanki Online includes unique versions of Wasp, Viking, Firebird and Thunder, all featuring custom, breath-taking designs!

 

As in case of Hornet and Railgun XT, these new turrets and hulls can be obtained by completing super-rare daily missions — “Destroy 9999 tanks” or “Earn 99999 experience points”, with a respective unique item stated as prize. As before, these assignments are only available to players with the rank of Generalissimo.

 

The characteristics of the new XT hulls and turrets are identical to their standard M3 counterparts and can also be micro-upgraded accordingly. Of course, once obtained, the items will remain in your garage forever.

 

That’s it, tankers! Feel free to share your thoughts on the new XT items in this topic.

Ok for high ranks xt but i think that there would be a possibility to have some special price ( rank-related ) also for other ranks , something less powerfull than xt but i think it would be more fair .

Personally, I think Firebird XT would look cooler if it was modelled after a pheonix. Partially because a pheonix-based design relates with the name "Firebird" more.

Will be there M2 M1 M0 XT Equipments avaible  for low ranks?

 

Is the parameters for XT Items is different?

 

If Hornet & Railgun XT M2 Has been released, What is the required rank to get it , and will the chance increase if we rank up?

I think railgun and hornet xt need to be for sale for 1 or 2 days and if you get it you keep it (they should be on sale for lower ranks as well, minimum about Warrant Officer 3.)

It's completely fair. XT's are special items, and quite rare ones at that. If they were available at lower ranks at the respective M0-M2 variants more people would go for them, and consequently more people are going to have them. Thus the XT's are no longer a prized item in the game.

The rank of Generalissimo is a special accomplishment just as much as XT's are special items.

If you were in a situation where you couldn't get an xt item you would have probably said he same, even if I was aloud to get xt (I'm not though) I would still want them for lower ranks so they enjoy rare turrets and hulls. I would love to try out an xt but by the time I get to the rank  of generalissimo xt items will probably be something you can get in the garage for like 1000 crystals.

Or is this another case of poor or total lack of communication between the various staff members. We seem to having that issue a lot lately. First with telling players there was going to a 50% sale and now this. Anybody ever heard of a memo?
