btw the designs are nice if they are unique for all, and i like the laser kinda beam comin out of those XTs.............

If you were in a situation where you couldn't get an xt item you would have probably said he same, even if I was aloud to get xt (I'm not though) I would still want them for lower ranks so they enjoy rare turrets and hulls. I would love to try out an xt but by the time I get to the rank  of generalissimo xt items will probably be something you can get in the garage for like 1000 crystals.

look i feel to that xt equipment should only be for marshal or higher. Because getting to these ranks is a special achievement and yes if it were available at low ranks such as m0-m1. then everybody would get them which will not make the xt equipment special or rare.

I don't think that is the reason.

 

I think the reason is that XT equipment is sold to you at cost, which is several hundred clicks to "Change". Doing this for lower ranks hurts the game economy. :P You need to fully upgrade the equipment to help the economy. By the time you do that for an M0 XT combo, you are a Gizmo, so you obviously would not do it.

 

The other problem is how do you get M1 XT equipment when you have M0 XT equipment? You can't buy it or upgrade it.

 

Actually, if they make the only way to upgrade it is to do full micro-upgrade it may work, but I do not think anybody can afford it. It would take you a year or say a few months to do that. Who will continue to upgrade M0 XT equipment until they are a Marshal?
