Is tanki forcing players to leave the game?

Why on earth would Tanki want to force players away? They need players to buy crystals so they can earn money. Especially high-ranked players, since they pay more, yet you claim that's who they're specifically targeting to leave. That huge drop in money earned is not worth having a few less people complain, even if they don't transfer accounts.

Well, this game (like any MMO), is a pay-to-win game, so buying helps your get superior equipment so that you can win battles easier. Buying literally makes you a winner.

The only thing I care about in this game is XP/BP and high quality clan wars. I find everything else to be irrelevant.

 

That being said, If I don't see a starladder type of tournament taking place within the next 6 months, I will definitely be waving the good bye flag.

Once I reach generalissmo I'll probably brag on FB then leave, but I won't remember the game, and it'll be gone within a few months.

I understand they need money to run the game, but how about instead of charging headlong in the direction of every F2P game ever, they make merchandise or something?

Well technically, Tanki would count as a business so they would want money and the updates would be in favor of a business. And yes, tanki is just getting worse and worse it seems. The updates are ruining it.

They should be ashamed for funding the game you enjoy playing? You should be ashamed of yourself being ignorant, I'm assuming you're one of those guys that cry when they don't get it their way and want everything to be handed to them without cost or consequences. If someone wants to use drugs they bought with "their" hard earned money or what not, i don't see why anyone should be against it, there are means to have no drug matches.

It kind of. The rift between the buyers and non buyers have gotten wider. Look at the non buyers in the latest vlog post whining,screaming and threatening to quit, lol. But I bet they will come back the next day. They always forget that sooner or later new ones can take their place any day.
