Is tanki forcing players to leave the game?

I don't know why Tanki has added XT items for buying in premium accounts. There will be this hard working non buyer who spent hours searching for the mission and there will be this rich well to do buyer who swipes his card and buys all items. Players will lose their faith in Tanki and start leaving, already they have. Daily I log in and I see 20-30k people online, whereas before the update I remember seeing 60-70k people online. Proof that people have had enough.

Number of people depends on timing of day. I still 60k to 70k on weekends.
