Yes. Right now I don't have Vulcan or Titan in my garage so if I want to buy it at M3 I would skip all the costs of the lower modifications.

 

This is essentially what a kit does - you pay only for the level of the modification of the item in the kit.

 

As you say a major scam since people who paid for these things prior to this "update" are obviously screwed - the same as anyone who buys anything during this sale who has to pay for 1 or more modifications to get the item they want. I almost bought Viking M3 on this sale, but, I would have to pay for M2 to get M3. Now I would be stupid to buy it.

I am working on getting m3 smoky, but I bought the m2 and 2-3 hours later they say that I could have skipped the m2 later this month...

What am I talking about? The discounts on the upgrades hulls and weapons when you have multiple of them with the respective upgrade already and what I'm most glad for is that you will be able to get M3 without paying for M0s, M1s and M2s. That's exactly what I need for the hulls and weapons I have M1 and M2 on my main account (I have nothing M0; I have not bought Vulcan and Hunter at all, so that does not count as an M0 for me. It simply counts as nothing.)

 

So, everyone willing to buy crap this update; hold up on it all! Don't buy anything unless your rank's quite small or you're high rank, but have nothing M1 or M0. Wait till this update, then wait till the next sale and THEN buy it; I for instance (if it's like a 50% sale next time on turrets or something) will be able to get say Vulcan as M3 for just 92400 (which is the total price for the turret if it's a 50% sale, I get 20% more off from the turret for having 6 turrets M3 and not having to pay for the M0, M1 nor the M2 upgrades) crystals instead of 342650.

 

So wait for that "discount update" and then wait for a sale, people! Then get some stuff in yer garage :P

I know. Lucky for me I only bought Isida and it was already M2. If I had gotten Viking and then saw the VLOG I would have been furious.

I sometimes wonder if the left hand doesn't communicate with the right hand there. To have a sale right now and then put this in the VLOG is totally insane.

Basically it works out to a semi-permanent sale - I suspect the sales we are used to will be far and few between.

 

I still can't fathom how a fully MU'ed M3 costs 50x more than the same item at M1 despite not giving you more than 2x the power or protection.

Range of XT items.... Of course Tanki want to increase this for Generalissimo, after all once we have MU'ed our items we are not spending crystals. Items will be added all the time to try to get us spending again. How true it is I'm not certain but did see someone in the chatrooms claim they had spent 400k of crystals trying to get one of the rare XT daily missions.

I saw it on Youtube. It's true, and silly, but this is how TO wants you to pay for the XT items, not for free.

A slight doubt..You said tankers will be able to buy the highest modification available at their ranks.So what happens to the old players who bought the modification of M0,M1,M2.I mean will those crystals be returned to us?Even if its a small amount,it could be used for passes or anything else.

I like this update on how we can buy turrets and hulls, because it is frustrating when I want an M3 item and I have to get those stupid m0/m1 modifications first. After that update, then either way I can get Viking.

If you've been a good, loyal customer for some years and used to tell to your friends how amazing the shop is which made the shop grow and get more and more customers, then yes. Someone who knows how business works would refund you. Maybe it's time to learn some basic stuff about economics?

Well, they wouldn't return the crystals...

But...

If you bought something M0, M1, M2, and then M3 in this sale, and you are comparing it with being able to buy the M3 directly later, then calculate the prices....

Even if you bought something from scratch, you would have still saved crystals, coz the sales was of 40%...

I calculated this for a few turrets..the result came out that it was still cheaper if someone bought it from scratch in the sale, in comparison to the full price, which you would have paid for just 1 modification of it, after the sale were finished...

What kind of shop would that be? Any real life examples, because I haven't heard of any shop that will do this.

Another rebalance?

This kinda sucks because ive got railgun m2 and when i buy railgun m3 , other people will just be able to buy railgun m3 even if they dont have m1 or m2.

so bacically ive just wasted crystals on m1 and m2, or will there be a rebalance??
