I was playing just now prior to server restart on Noise CTF and I was extremely frustrated with the 3 Isidas on my team. At no time did they ever help or assist in my countless attempts at getting the blue flag back to red base. We ended up losing 2-4 in a 30 minute round. 3 of them on my team and all they were doing was wandering around on the middle level healing other players.

As a seasoned Isida player myself this is how I conduct myself:

1. No matter what you are doing when you see that one of your team members has taken the flag you immediately find that person and help them return the flag. If possible help them on the way to the flag and continue healing while they are under attack while taking the flag.

2. Keep all your defenders healed.

3. If neither (1) or (2) apply then wander out on the map and heal your team members in the following order: most powerful tanks first, or, those who need minimal healing and have either DD or DA enabled; heal big tanks on their way to the enemy's base, finally, work on tanks who are very low on health because healing them will drain most of your own energy.

A bad Isida player is worse than having one at all because it wastes a spot that could be taken by an effective offensive player.

^ agree to you

If i play in drug battles i use DD, go and heal attacking hulls (medium-heavy), next, people who are low on health, people who need a bit help (usualy wasps/hornets)

Actually, the thing is, isida is only great at its rank...

when i newly bought my isida m2, it was very OP....and if i use it at my current rank, i always end up being one of the bottom most guys in my team...and at the same time, i can see isida M3s do a great job at my rank again... a drugged isida can get a score so high, which cannot be beaten....

You don't have to drug at all to do well with Isida - this is in a round with no supplies and no drugs at all. In fact I even grabbed the gold box in the same round as well - an impressive feat considering that Isida has no way to push itself on top of the pile due to having no firepower to help get up on top:

Obvious flame-bait is obvious.

I use Smoky exclusively, but I've always considered owning an Isida simply to use as a healer. Too many times do I see Isidas not healing properly and playing as if its a Firebird. Being the only turret capable of adding health in a battle, it is an extremely helpful tool, one which can make the utmost difference in a team battle.

What exactly is your definition of "extreme buyer?"

Practically everything I own is M2, I still don't own Vulcan or Titan; Smoky is M1, Wasp is M0, Shaft is M0.

I have a total of 4 paints: Jaguar, Prodigy, Raccoon, and Graffiti.

In terms of garage at my rank it's fairly weak - a buyer would have everything available at rank and everything at the highest level possible.

Why would buyers buy everything when they only need a few good M4 combos?

IMHO, I suspect the rest of your equipment have good and many MUs to make up for its shortcomings. :)

if he had Buyer garage, than 100% m3 thunder, m3 rail, m2-m3 wasp, maybe m2-m3 smoky

Why would I waste money on MU? MU costs more than the next tier upgrade. Double the cost in almost all cases if you fully MU.

It's a complete waste of money - the only time it makes sense would be if you already have M3 and have about 900,000 to blow.

I have only upgraded two items in my career - I upgraded some of Isida M2 and some of Firebird M2. I MU'ed the first 25% on damage and afterburn on Firebird - nothing else. With Isida I upgraded some of the damage and some of the self-healing.

I have never bought anything at full price - I bought most of what I had around last Christmas during the sales.

I meant to say MUs on your good M3 equipments like your Isida and Hunter. Unless you leave them as it is from the garage?

True, but it depends on map.

(P.S, I used to be a buyer and I still hated all of the above XD.I left them m0.)

Full micrupgrades are a waste.  Paying 20k for a 0.001% improvement to a single spec that will never benefit you in any way aside from bragging rights is useless.  However that is just the severe diminishing returns.  The first 3-4 upgrades offer you some of the best return on investment in the game.  For example m3 isida would cost 230k for a 29% upgrade to healing or damage, definitely not worth it.  But the first 10% improvement only takes 5 mu levels and costs less than 10k crystals.

Except for paints, paints are almost always worth upgrading.
