I get regularly insulted since I use Shaft. Apparently its a gun for noobs. I do have another account where I play with rail gun, but its just that I like shaft. And most of these self acclaimed pros don't realize that playing with shaft is pretty hard, only if you can use it properly. I usually ignore the chats. But I usually am on the top of the list when the battle ends, so being a defender snipping and not getting flags to increase the points is not very easy. Tankers with other turrets, especially the rails would always hurl insults, but I found a better a nice way to deal with it.

My Stats:
Kills - 34 356
Deaths - 9 775
K/D - 3.51

And I won't lie. I just love killing rails. Love it when they blow up into pieces. Also love the fact when these other turrets gets frustrated when I don't reply. May be its just the fact that I have got better manners than them and not to forget its a game and we play it for fun and not for hurling abuses at each other. Happy snipping shafts!! ;)

i once got called a noob by this hardcore railgun user when i caught a gold box with my wasp.

You! I've seen you climb out onto the front ledge on the opposing side in Brest map. I have a snapshot of that with my Shaft. B)

This is actually a legitimate problem.

Many Tankers believe that using a heavy hull and a short range turret is not effective. Or using a fast hull with a high knock back turret isnt smart either. But in reality, there is no bad combination. Its just how you use it. A lot of people play effectively with mammoth and isida or shaft and wasp. These arn't bad combinations, I dont understand why people think they arn't good just because in some situations its not effective.

There is no perfect combination. Not even railgun and hornet. (hard to believe right? :P)

Its so bad its gone to the point where if you dont use XP equipment than you are considered a "noob"... Technically speaking railgun and hornet is only good for camping. It does a poor job at actually being involved and active in the middle of the battlefield, considering it only gets to shoot once and possibly miss and then get destroyed to bits with that weak hull. This and many other stereotypes have to be broken in tanki. Including,

vulcan and wasp = bad combo cuz low health and can't go over time for very long

mammoth and isida = limited range and slow, easily destroyed from a long distance without any resistance.

shaft and wasp = you might flip yourself and its better used with a medium/heavy hull

titan/mammoth and thunder = tanks will just run up to you and make you take self damage.

firebird and mammoth = limited range, easy to kill from a distance.

these are all stereotypes I have heard, but theres probably more. We need to spread in the community that there is no bad combination, its just a matter of how you use it. We need to encourage tankers to try something new, and break these stereotypes. Don't ever tell anyone that there combination is bad just because you can't use it.

Hooray! That means I've been using it correctly all along! :D

Regularly get insulted by the enemy team, usually railguns, because using Shaft is apparently such a sin. Also get rammed by my own teammates and regularly pushed off the map for no reason whatsoever. It happens so often I don't even care anymore.

If you're teammates are pushing u off the map then u should be reporting them for sabotage

Then u need to take screenshots and report them its against the rules its considered multing/sabotage they can get banned for it

Really? Yay!

Anyways, @NatchGa:

Yes, it is all about how you use it. However, some combos ARE better/more effective.

e.g. Titan-Vulcan is usually better than Wasp-Vulcan.
