Wait, i have a question. Suppose i have a fully micro-upgraded Mammoth M0 (just for this example). A fully micro-upgraded turret or hull gives you the option to get the next M Version for free, right? But suppose my rank is high enough to but Mammoth M2? What happens then?

as soon as your rank is hogh enough for M1 (one!) your M0 will be replaced by an M1 without microupgrades.

From this point in time on you have an M1.. and all the other explained stuff applies.

 

 

refund:

I wonder how many of the people who claim a refund would go to a supermarket during a sales, and claim that the chicken they purchased yesterday is today cheeper.. and they want a refund.

Especially as the chicken is "used", because in the meanwhile you played with your weapons.. and had fun with it.

Or if you purchase a car.. then it gets cheaper 2 weeks later, and you claim for an refund at the store.

 

Don't get me wrong.. keep asking - maybe you are lucky.

But simply don't be mad if it does not work out. A deal is a deal..

(I have also purchased an M2 Rico during a 50% sale which I never use. I purchased it cause the price was good and I know I wanted to go M3 rico one day. Wasted now.

Also I went from Isi M1 to M3 during the last 50% sales.. Waste.

Same goes for my Hunter (M1..M3 for 50%). Waste.

But hey, I used it in the meanwhile, I had fun with it.

 

And they stated in in the vlog on Friday on tankman sales. So at least I stayed away from fire M2 for this info that they give in time.

ok. i am a programer. they need to avert the game so that players can use money to buy credits that get refunds or maybe buy xts. therefor, noobs get this update, and higher rank players can also get their money back. plus tanki makes money

First off the system is buggy.  Second off I personally would like to test out vulcan m1.  I don't want to have to buy m2 at a higher price if I want to test it out, instead I would like the choice of either buying m1 or m2 at the base price.  And also I have almost all the hulls at M2, but none of them are discounted for m3.  And on top of that not all my turrets and hulls show the discounted price, even though I can buy them at this rank.  Please take this into consideration tanki online team, for I love the game and I think this update has potential!!!

Bought a full m4 garage without sales. Don't see the point of using sales, if I can afford to live without them

I am sorry. I quite did not get what you are trying to approach to me. But I guess, if you don't care, why are you here? Also seeing that you have a full M4 garage, congrats with that but buying it without sale?  :huh: That is unheard of, to be real, so if you don't know how it feels to be like us, don't tell us! To be honest with you, if you wasted around 500k+ on getting a full M4 garage, you could care less for us losing around 400k. It's your attitude, and I got nothing against it.  ^_^ Just don't judge us if you don't feel the same way as we do.  ;)See, crystals mean a lot to us. I don't know if you earned yours or "bought" them but it seems you don't care much about sales, or losing them. That, in fact, is NOT like us!  :P

Funny seeing other Generalissimos and high rank players saying this is the worst update ever and pointing out reason why it should be removed... just because they bought all M3 turrets and hulls and now they don't want other players to get them cheaper LOL bit self-centered aren't you?

 

As for me, I have looooots of M1s and M0s I tried as a recruit and didn't like them, and only 2 M3 turrets/hulls, which are now M4, because I didn't waste my crystals buying everything I could, I just got what I have to it's highest potential.

We have to build upon our own? So won't a strategy be to care about your self, and be self-centered.  :huh: Plus, are you really gonna rub it in to us people who lost over 200,000+ crystals? I mean, just imagine losing it in one way. If you don't get it with this thing, imagine someone stole 200k from your tank from time to time when you spent in it sales. I have been fighting 4 years for my rank and acquired step/by/stel a full M3 garage.

 

Since you make it so easy for new players, I demand a refund in crystals of the full difference, so that i upgrade all my turrets and hulls to M4.

To answer your question, pretty much. Not looking like we can get a refund, but I do seem to see a few others who have the same sense as you, and me! We deserve a refund as much as they deserve to get M3s of the bat. I guess maybe one of us can begin a petition!  :wub: If we need to fight for our freedom, I am willing to do so.  :) Just.... give me the crystals that I worked hard on to get M0 to M3 all by one selection to another! Okay, so it is nice that i can get m3 without having to buy the m1,2 ....... but, now I have to wait longer to get a new gun :-P ..... i have m1 freeze, was wanting m2, now i have to wait to get enough cry for m3 ... i was getting m3 at some point, and it's nice i don't have to pay the extra ... but it'll take longer now :-(

Seems like a good update, but unfortunately it will take too many times good updates to even the damage you have done with drugs.

Still, the game is disappointing due to druggers.

Just because there are less players doesn't mean that's proof that druggers are making people quit. That might be a correlation, but not causation. And every update they have done for a while reduced the power of druggers, so they are not "causing damage" with drugs.

No, They wanted to maximize profits first by letting people buy a bunch of things that now they no longer needed to buy. Kind of dishonest practices, if you ask me. For those of us smart enough to see the truth, this is obviously a decision made well before Tanker Day . At least that's what I see.

 

This update will be great for non-buyers but it still stinks of deception.  These are the kinds of things that will drive players away.

 

What should have happened was this update should have been released for Tanker's Day instead of having the traditional sale. Everybody would have been happy and we wouldn't have to point out these questionable business practices AGAIN.

Today, we’ve made two changes to the game, both of which are aimed at simplifying the purchase of new turrets and hulls.

 

The first change is direct access to the best available grade for any turret or hull you wish to purchase. Instead of buying all the modifications of an item, you can now go directly for the best grade available at your rank.

 

For example:

 

If you have M0 Ricochet in your garage, and Ricochet M3 is available at your rank, you don’t need to buy M1 and M2. You can go directly for the top modification. This saves you 113 500 crystals.

 

Even if you don’t have Ricochet at all, you can still purchase an M3 without any prior expenses, which saves you 115 400 crystals.

 

Secondly, we’ve introduced a discount for buying items of the same type. As you buy more turrets of the same modification, the remaining turrets of the same grade will become cheaper. The system works in the same way for hulls.

 

Turrets

• 3 turrets of the same modification in your garage — 10% off all remaining turrets of the same grade
• 6 turrets of the same modification in your garage — 20% off all remaining turrets of the same grade
• 9 turrets of the same modification in your garage — 30% off all remaining turrets of the same grade

Hulls

• 2 hulls of the same modification in your garage — 10% off all remaining hulls of the same grade
• 4 hulls of the same modification in your garage — 20% off all remaining hulls of the same grade
• 6 hulls of the same modification in your garage — 30% off all remaining hulls of the same grade

Of course, these discounts will add up to product kit discounts and current garage promotions.

 

These fresh changes are meant to make it a lot easier for tankers to grow their arsenal with new items, or purchase a turret or hull in addition to their main combo.

I think this is some quiet and hushed way of forcing players to buy crystals, under cover of a discount for buying items of the same type...This is like tiny sweet chocolate outside and inside is a bitter candy.

 

And yes that I do not forget, strange that this update is seven days after 40% off all Turrets and six days after 40% off all Hulls. They could implement this update before this discounts, but they did not.

Go test it on one of your other accounts. And don't tell me you don't have a lower rank account. 

 

By the way, trying the lower rank version of a weapon against high rank hulls is not even close to the same thing. For example, M0 twins is over powered at the low ranks but M3 is not as over powered at the high ranks. Why? Because of the difference in hulls protection and paints.

One thing I have realized, is how unbalanced this game truly is. It never occurred to me how many very high rank players, that should be using M3's, are still using M1's and 2's. This only exposes how much of an advantage buyers have in this game. Because in reality they are the only ones that can afford an M3 garage.  Well at least until now.  The players I really feel sorry for are the ones that have been saving for a real long time to buy an m2 but now due to their rank are stuck with under powered M1 gear because they can't afford the price of an m3.  For some the imbalance will shrink but for others it will grow.

Actually, no body should be buying anything until they tell us whats happening with Unity. Heck, this game may not even be here in 6 months, so all of this will be for nothing anyway.

Great update - I'd just like to point out a flaw.

 

Particularly in cases of XP-BP battles, suppose a General or higher ranked wants to join one, but can't afford/doesn't want M3 Railgun - M2 is not available.

I'd suggest allowing one to purchase the modification desired independently.

Agreed, but there must be some reason they are doing this. I just haven't figured out what it is yet. Seems strange that they removed an option that could actually make them a little extra. If some one wants to take the more expensive route to an M3, I say let them. It's only more money going back into the game.

 

Does anyone else see something wrong with the logic here.  

 

Example:

• I want to buy an M2 today and an M3 next month
• They won't let me buy the M2 today because of my rank, so now they have to wait until next month when I buy the M3.
• They just lost the amount I would have spent on the M2 plus any micro upgrades I may have done during the next month.
