Damage Inflicted When Running Into Tank

Recommended Posts

Enemy tank receives damage when you run into him, The faster and harder you hit him, the greater the damage.

And in parkour battles, this could be an optional feature.

Also, the tank's weight is what dictates how much damage is done, for example, if a hornet rams into a mammoth the hornet will sustain more damage.

Other than those points an idea I totally agree with.

I'm guessing that you came up with the idea after watching/playing World of Tanks. Well, even though it might be an interesting feature to have, I doubt that it would work well in this type of tank game due to the large number of collisions that generally happen in our battles. Colliding with other tanks is a big part of the game, so I think that forcing players to avoid it will not be good for gameplay.

Do the developers not come here?

Perhaps they do, but I'd be surprised if they do. There is no point coming here for new ideas if they already have 2-3 years work piled up to add the things they already plan to add, including releasing the Unity version.

Yeah um this may work well in WoT, but I think it will be horrible in TO. Reason being maps are significantly smaller so tanks travel faster. Things are just too chaotic in Tanki for that to be fair or fun. Imagine CTF mode. All you'll need is a Mammoth of the flag and no light tanks will be able to get the flag without slowing down. Slow light tanks= dead light tanks
