Is it easier being a low ranker?

Tanki is coming up with updates which makes it really easy for low rankers. First they came with rank up crystals , back in my day when I needed those crystals the most they weren't there. Now they're coming with buying M3 stuff without having to buy M0-M2. There are probably even more examples. 

 

This makes me feel like low rankers have it so easy these days , while back in the day I was struggling so hard to get something upgraded to M1.

 

What is your opinion?

Well it was considerably hard back in the days but now it is easy and there should be no complaints about tankers saying they want this and that.

Ranking up wasn't so difficult ,  gaining crystals was though. Got my first M1 at WO5: M1 Firebird , second was M1 Hunter at Captain.

I have a low rank account and it's easier now. Especially with daily missions. I can obtain and mu my equipment easier. It was much harder when I was coming on my higher rank.

i have been playing with low ranks for some time and enjoy it

up till you reach a certain point then it gets harder then it use to for ranking

it use to take only 2 - 4 days to rank now i`m at like 2 weeks less good battles and more player drugging along with m2 or m3 hulls or turrets way too early then in the past

 

 i still enjoy playing with lower ranks

When I was a low ranker, I always went to a Highland TDM with High rankers and collected those lovely blue boxes :Lol:

When I was coming up we didn't have any type of kits or passes or the ability to obtain equipment before our rank. No paints, no hulls and no turrets before your rank. You had to obtain equipment when you reached the specified rank back then. All the way up to Generalissimo!

 

P.S. no rank up fund either! I missed all that. I do have a lower atl. and am enjoying all today's benefits!

yes i agree on my first account the old bydolord / now Titanium-9000  you had to battle lots of games to rank in a month or so now its way to easy for players and its like a insult to the long time players who struggled to get as far as we have the new bydolord only took 3 months plus and even that i found was easy my account im on now no-one-cares its a little harder to rank but not like titanium it was more a challenge to get where it is now

I remember the struggle to get M1 Thunder back in the day......it was so back breaking.... now I could probably get the 17k required (it was 50% off) just through rank up money now.... of course we had crystals but those hardly fell. Still better then the fund these days

when i was low ranked we never had m3 kits at colonel....soo unfair.. when i was colonel i would be plapying with m3s who would drug all the time lol

Not really, it's in fact kinda unfair that high ranked battles get higher funds, therefore more Gold Drops, more Gold Drops should equal more crystals. Getting the Gold is harder though, I guess.

also back then when you drugged you could have more then one on now you have to wait for them..and dropping mines back then it was hard and slow to push them out fast enough.. now there dropping like fly`s..when gold dropped it would not tell you where it was dropping you had to find it and good luck back then cause you never knew where it would..next to crystals dropping they dropped but you had campers just for them like now we have gold campers and the hackers back then we never noticed them as much as there out now...2013 is when i started..

But anyhow, I agree that nowadays it is easier to progress than even maybe 6 months ago... And it's much more balanced now than when I was in the WO ranks.

where is it balanced i have gone into battles many of times and i have found that i would join when other team only has 2 players and mine would also be 2 then not even a few minutes later one team would be full and mine still with only the 3 players on it and no one joined in the mean time this happens a lot why still have no clue and they say its balanced and even when i join with lower rank in battles i find one side has more high ranks then the other so its still not working

It is the result of players joining your team also...initially, new players join both the team, but as one side starts to loose too much, that they think that they cant win now, they leave..and that's why you are left alone...

 

And btw, 'balance' doesn't mean only the balance in teams..its a much wider concept...It includes balance between different hulls, turrets, ranks, maps, battles etc...(battles here include the balance of weapon..that an m0 doesn't go facing an m2/3 guy)

A low rank buys M0s and m1s..it does not affect them...an m0 is very cheap...

This advantage is reaped only by the high ranks..you see?

And who do you think are gonna be the next high ranks? The high ranks nowadays had to buy it from M0 to M3 , the next generation can just one click and save crystals.

 

Nothing starts with a good start, every thing starts like crap and then it improves. Stop thinkin negative about everything.
