Not to offend or anything, but from my own experience, when someone says no one gives a damn about someone else - it's him that has that problem. One of my classmates continuously conveys to everyone the message "I'm the center of the world, and ain't no one gives a damn about you". That's exactly what most of my class thinks about him.
