Idea for skipping buys for M1 and going for M2 Immediately

I enjoy Tanki, like everyone else who is playing now; right?

But still, also like other tankers out there, I think that some of the new updates could use some tweaks. One being how it would be better if there were an option for buying M1 OR M2 (Turret/Hull), because often some tankers (including me), don't have enough crystals for buying M2, but still want an upgrade to their noob M0, so buying M1 will satisfy _______'s "hunger" for a better Turret/Hull.

If you cross a particular rank, then buying an equipment of lower rank doesn't help you at all...

I mean, initially, it may feel 'nice' to you, but as days, weeks, and months pass by, and when you need crystals badly, then that particular equipment in you garage makes you feel angry on yourself...you ask yourself that why did you bought it, when it couldn't even earn you back the investment...

 

Thus, to help avoid such situations, its better the way it is....because if you big an equipment according to your rank, it will definitely help you much much more than what a lower modification of the same equipment could earn you... get me?

As said above, buying M1 equipment when you already have M2 available is simply a waste of crystals. It's much better to save up for M2 and buy it right away, rather than buy M1 and struggle with saving up for M2 in the future. You will end up in an even worse situation when you still have M1 and saving up for M2, but you already have M3 unlocked.

what is the use of a fire m1 if the guy is a ..

just like that after u cross a particular rank, lower modifications become useless and thus if we can directly buy a higher modification without spending money on it before ,its much better

I mean, initially, it may feel 'nice' to you, but as days, weeks, and months pass by, and when you need crystals badly, then that particular equipment in you garage makes you feel angry on yourself...you ask yourself that why did you bought it, when it couldn't even earn you back the investment...

I think that for some tankers, it's still better though.. I mean, it's an upgrade, and it's a good one, so why not buy it and use it to get even MORE crystals then you had before? Such as Thunder M1. Why don't you just buy the same thing and make them easier to fight, while gaining crystals because you keep getting first with this OP (OverPowered for those who don't know what "OP" means) Turret that wrecks everything out there!

not every weapon is balanced at every level so tankers may want to get diffrent turrets for diffrent levels,

second thing kid, if i want a full m3 garage id rather buy a direct m3 instead of buying m1, m2 and then m3..

see i dont have a pool of money so i can buy crystals 

even if u dont like the update accept it, u cant change the game

Well, you would rank up soon....and buying an equipment of a lower rank of means that you'll be ending up using M1 equipment in M2 or M3 battles...which is not at all good for you or your team (you gonna be a burden for them)

I would rather like to contradict your statement....a thunder M1 is one of the easiest weapon to take out at this rank.....neither can a M1 thunder mammy survive, nor a viking.....just if its M1, its a bit difficult...

 

Why don't you just buy the same thing and make them easier to fight, while gaining crystals because you keep getting first with this OP (OverPowered for those who don't know what "OP" means) Turret that wrecks everything out there!

As said above, using a lower modification of a turret doesn't make you OP....so you don't harvest as much as crystals, which you could had gathered if you had a higher M...

I bought Thunder M2 on an alt account at your rank. Those M1 Thunders were a joke to me after that.

To be honest, you're in a really bad situation at the moment. I have two most effective suggestions for you:

1. Purchase crystals and buy M2 items
2. Start a new account and play with that, while only completing missions on the main Captain account. That way you won't be gaining much XP, but you will be getting a lot more crystals per unit XP than before. That way you will save up for M2 fairly quickly and won't advance too far in ranks, so the M2 item you buy will still be effective.

^^ This is what i am doing now . I've got enough crystals and ready to rank , but can't play for some months so i am doin' this trick to save even more crys now .

And believe when i was down with 15k crystals and 30k xp to go , i hoped it would not cross 50k . But doing this trick results in 87k crys and astonishingly still 7k xp to go ;)

And Geevuh , When Thunder M2 , looks costly , you can rank and buy firebird M2 in a 50% sale , which is even cost less than thunder m2 and its a weapon that can easily carry you to m3 ranks and gain more crystals .

That is a really good point. After the rebalance I bought Firebird M2 and Rico M2 on this account (colonel). Without any microupgrades on the Fire M2 I managed to go all the way up to Fieldmarshal, where I bought Smoky M3 on the 70% sale. The only thing is that I was really struggling with using a stock M2 against M3-M4 weapons towards the later ranks, so I suggest you do MU your weapon at least halfway. MUing all the way helps, but it does cost a LOT more than simply buying M3, so only do it if you have an abundance of crystals.

I have 1/2 M1's in my Garage, no M2's yet..

And I'm a kid, honestly, my parents think there's a virus on this thing; ya seriously think they're gonna spend money on this troll game?

:/ I don't enjoy using Firebird: I'm a sniper (Rail, Shaft), but I only occasionaly use those turrets (Thunder, Smoky, etc.)..

That part is a pretty good suggestion, but it's no fun... I mean, it's a game, it's meant to be played for fun. I still think that 2 buttons is Tanki's best bet.

Clarification: I wish that there would be 2(3) buttons, one for buying M1, one for M2, or if needed, one for buying M3 also.

You say that it's not fun, but I think otherwise, because you will be able to start again, avoid making the same mistakes again (like wasting all crystals on different garage items, instead of upgrading just one combo), AND you have the added bonus of having the skill of a Captain, whereas most other players will be clueless newbie recruits :)

Either way, it's your choice.

Here's why you need two choices: what if I already have M1, but, not enough crystals for M3 and I want to upgrade to M2 in the interim?

 

Good example - I never purchased Vulcan in my garage so now if I want it I must pay the M3 price for it. The lower tiers are no longer available to me.

 

What if I didn't want M3? I have many M2 turrets that I will never upgrade to M3, but, it is sort of nice to have them to experiment with - under the current system I would now have to buy M3 of each one if I didn't happen to already have them.
