U hate studying don't u?

Yeah & No... Cause I love maths & science (bio/physics/chemistry). But Social Science (Studies in some areas) gets on my nerves cause it has history, geography & civics. Plus I have to study 3 more subjects (languages of course), which definitely are hard.

It's actually possible if someone is interested in a specific subject. I'm interested in space and Astronomy and love learning things about it :)

As for the others, I'm not addicted, but it's not like I hate those subjects either.

No. It's just impossible. I never saw a classmate asking for extra homework or asking for more test during the year or cry because school is closed.

It's not. I am addicted to Physics a bit. OK?

Well, yes, just as you can get addicted to work. For most people, both work and studies gets boring and tiresome after a while - though both can be interesting and rewarding, often schools fail to make them so. It's effectively when someone doesn't get tired of studying that they can be considered addicted.

Well, No but some students are addicted to studies who always get higher grade s.

So basically you're implying that those students who always get higher grades are addicted to studies? That attitude is so annoying...

It assumes that in order to be successful in terms of grades, you'd need to 'have no life' or invest all your time into studies, therefore presenting that success in a negative way. Providing yourselves with a false excuse when you don't get high grades ('at least I have a life').

Sure, some who get top grades study a lot (which isn't even necessarily a bad thing), but others don't study more than the norm and don't really enjoy it either - they just do so in a more effective way when they have to. Try learning from those high-achieving peers instead of ridiculing them to put them down.

idk about you guys but i will never get addicted to studies cuz im not a nerd

"...most nerds are shy ordinary-looking types with no interest in physical activity. But, what they lack in physical prowess they make up in brains. Tell me, who writes all the best selling books? Nerds. Who makes all the top grossing movies? Nerds. Who designs computer programs so complex that only they can use them? Nerds. And who is running for high public office? No one but nerds. ... Without nerds to lead the way, the governments of the world will stumble, they'll be forced to seek guidance from good-looking, but vapid airheads."

I'm not really a good example of a nerd myself, but I can be nerdy - and that's cool, k.
