Balancing the Game Out!

So this is one of my Ideas and a Suggestion... Let's begin... 

 

Okay let's be truthful... The new update of "Growing your arsenal is now easier"  kinda makes life harder for us Generalissimos and us High ranker.  :unsure: Particularly, those that bought the majority of their stuff from M0-M3! And you know, I brought an argument to it that we should get a refund! But not only was it that no Developers saw it, it also sounded kinda demanding. Anywho, lets be real for some time. Even if we get more than 100, or even 1,000 members to sign a Petition for a refund, it won't happen.  -_- Here is why!

 

1. It would take a long time. Around 100,000 tankers at most are online. Let's say a fifth of that or 20,000 tankers have gotten stuff from M0 to at least M2. Imagine working on 20,000 of their accounts for refunds.

 

2. Which brings us to point 2. It will take too long. They are currently working on Unity so fixing this or patching it will take LOTS of time away from developing Unity Version. 

 

So in conclusion, we ain't getting a refund any time soon! So deal with it guys! Who am I to say deal with it? I was the one who had arguing like heck out there. :/  :wacko: 

 

However, here is where the balancing comes in! If you watch the latest V-Logs, you will see, they are still bringing out multiple updates for the Flash Tanki. A few of them are, Garage Layout, and Player Statistics.   ^_^ 

 

Any who, in V-Log Episode 60, Semyon Strizhak says "Very soon in addition to Holiday Promotions and product kits, players will be getting additional opportunities to buy equipment at special prices." Pretty much, it is like personal discounts. Let's say you don't have Rico M3 in your garage and you are at the rank to get it. You can get the rare opportunity to use it for some time in 1 game against others as a test drive. At the end, you will get  a choice to buy it in a specific amount of discount. Also, the offer will be time limited. It will be available for a few hours.  Anyway, you can get discounts without personal test drives as well. Therefore, the discount will be random upon entering the game. This will also build up to product kits as well. For better understanding, watch the V-Log 60 from 2:54 till 3:56!  ;) 

 

And for the balancing, I was thinking... let the players who got M3s from M0 or M1 or even M2 throughout their garage get bigger discounts than to those who get their equipment from the greatest modification with the new update. So for all us Generalissimos and High ranks, we will be getting better and bigger discounts!  :wub: However, some Generalissimos might be asking... "I got a full M3 garage". Then maybe they can choose you to use a M4 Turret or Hull of one of Tanki's choices and then you get discounts on it for MUs to get it to M4. I know that wasn't discussed, but it sounds fair!  ;) But if you all have all M4 garage, than don't complain. I mean then I guess you can get discounts on Paints!  ;) But still, your above all else!  :P 

 

So I am thinking this is a good idea!  ^_^ Any thoughts of yours? You agree? Disagree? Let's discuss below!

I'll give you a simple real life example as to why we won''t have a refund:

You go to a grocery store and buy a new blender and a whole bunch of spare parts for it. Then you buy two packs of strawberries as well. On the next day you come to the store and see that there is a new promotion that makes it so that when you buy the blender you get the spare parts for free and also with 2 packs of strawberries you get another one for free. You go to the management and demand your money back because you bought the stuff for full price the day before. They look at you as if you are crazy.

 

Therefore, just because you didn't know about upcoming promotions and bought something for a full price does not mean that you deserve some kind of bonus later.

Yea, I agree. But for most, people may just get M2 to check out. I mean for real, no one would go through M0-M3 again! Rather just try equipment out before they get it at the best modification, or maybe in Test server. But I do agree that you should be able to choose your level of purchase!  :)

Quite simple indeed. And I would agree with you with your scenario. I mean it is real life, and it seem's crazy asking real cash for in return. But here is my point. Also, please don't take me too seriously! I mean, I am 10, and your a Mod, at a mature age. Therefore, I am bound to be wrong, but hear me out!  ;) 

 

 

1. One person, or me asking for a refund would sound crazy. But in our example, multiple people are asking for a refund. From YouTube, Forum, Chat, people are requesting a refund.  :unsure: 

 

2. This is a game. We act different here than in real life. We interact differently with the knowledge of not seeing each other face to face, but playing a game together. They are developers, and we share our opinions as members of the game. The opinions are not right or wrong! Like I said, it is an opinion. For that fact, they do stuff of our knowledge and comments, and their's too. If we specifically don't like something, we can speak out. As long as it isn't rude or breaks the rules, we are allowed to do so, and therefore we can do it.  :P 

 

But we have to use our common sense, even if it doesn't break the rules. Like in real life, asking for cash back in register gives you common sense that it is crazy to ask for it. But here, it ain't crazy. And you know what, with the argument, I did kinda get 10+ up votes, which I assume are agreements from other people. Yea sure the update got loads more, but there was more to the update that could of made people happy that unhappy. Plus, I am just bringing out one point, so yea.  ^_^

Well you know what, I agree with that...  ;) But guess what?  :huh: How the heck are we suppose to know about the upcoming change if they just talked about it 3-4 days before it came. I mean, we had a sale before they even told us about this update for crying out loud. For that, we spend all the crystals on sales, happy days. Next days, they tell us about the update. Don't you think it's okay for me asking for a refund from the grocery store if they randomly put out a sale without anyone knowing about it. I mean, if they told me before, I would wait for the sale, which in my case, I would have no complaints. ;) Also, it isn't like Tanki they implement an update before letting us know a lot of time in advance. I mean, I spent 400,000+ crystals on the sale on a kit because I had it M0, and know people can get it at a bigger discount in 50% of straight of the bat? Are you kidding me?  -_-  

 

4. Which brings me to point 4. This update here is to stay. That promotion you mentioned probably lasted for a few days, so it was for that time people could save more than me... But with this update, people can have the same equipment than me at any time cause this update is STILL here so they don't have to go through all the modifications. So there, if what you said in your scenario stayed for longer, not only would if be unfair for JUST me, it would be unfair for ALL the other people who bought before me, and then there is a sale on it for a long period of time. Get my sense?  :huh:
