Draft Discounts on Tanki Question

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello Tanki Online! I have a question about discounts. Let's say you have 2 turrets at m1 so you can get the 10% discount. And then later theres a 50% off sale on turrets. Would your total discount add the 10% discount and the 50% discount to make it a total of 60% off for you on that sale? Or would it stay at the 50% off sale regardless of your 10% discount?

First of all, make sure that you carefully read all the information about easier growing arsenal.

You need to have 3 turrets of M1 modification for 10% discount, 6 for 20% and finally 9 for 30% discount respectively.

When talking about hulls, you need to have 2 M1 hulls for 10%, 4 for 20% and 5 hulls  to get discount of 30% on the remaining hulls.

Second, when talking about discounts, you will also get your 10% on 50% normal discount, so you will have 60% discount on specific hull/turret. It should work just like product kits, when discount comes, %'s of discount are bigger.

There are some errors here:

1) the 30% discount on hulls triggers at the 6th hull bought, not the 5th.

2) discounts are NOT calculated this way. You apply a discount, then another discount on the RESULT of the previous discount. so by having a 10% discount and then a 50% one, a 100 crystal item will cost you not 40 but 45 crystals, cause you calculate the 50% on 90 crystals left from 10%.

Exactly. If you want to buy a turret that costs 100 000 crystals while you have the 10% discount and while there's a 50% discount on, it's as follows.

100 000 times 0.9 = 90 000

90 000 times 0.5 = 45 000

That's how it works.

You shouldn't do 50% + 10%. That's not how it works.
