  1. 1. Do you want this idea implemented into the game?

As the titles implies, this feature will allow a player to see the battle in action from Bird's Eye View before joining it.

You know that moment when you feel that a Battle is going to be good and then you Rage Quit a few minutes later? Well, this problem should solve it. You will be bale to see what equipment players are using and estimate the difficulty of progress, or just watch for fun!

This was suggested earlier, but rejected....it had MANY and GREAT drawbacks....few of the biggest one being epic lag for people..

Also, people could see a gold drop and join immediately and leave after it had dropped..and perhaps they catch it....which can be unfair to those who had been playing there for long, hoping for a drop...

Really? I searched and it didn't show anything.

Ideas that get rejected, closed, archived long back are difficult to be founded again...they get mixed in the dump...also, you forget the perfect word which was used in the idea, so it becomes all the more difficult to find..

To tell you the truth, some while ago I thought of the exact same idea, but I found so many problems with it. For example, lag. There would be tremendous lag, trust me, not only in the battle, but outside is too. Another problem is you can easily see an enemy base by going on an alt... Same problem with why they don't give everyone spectator mode.

I like the thought, but I don't think it can work.

The reason this may not be implemented is for the same reason Spectator Mode is not issued to every player. This is because certain players will use this for their own advantage. For example, a tanker will recruit his friends to spy on the battle from above, so that they can tell him where the enemy is positioned or where the enemy player with the flag is hiding, or where mines are, or where the goldbox is dropping, and other such things.

This idea is very similar to a mode in tanki that already exists- Spectator Mode. It is issued to certain moderators and many famous youtubers, and allows them to zoom around maps with a free camera, without actually joining the battle.

A way to improve this idea would be by adding a time limit to the amount of time you can preview the battle. Perhaps 20 seconds? Also, this previewing idea should have an option to disable it in Pro battles. Pros may not want players spying on their battles.

Ideas similar to yours but perhaps slightly more refined have been suggested below. I would suggest continuing the discussion there.

Oh well, it was heading for failure anyway. Oh and another strategy is after you died next to an enemy base you can pause so that you can still see it, and report back to the team with regards to who is around the base. But meh, close it.

Oh and, WHY DID THREE PEOPLE VOTE POTATO IS A FOOD?!

Actually, how about you could see what players are using in that battle? Would that work?

This has been suggested before (other topics are old and archived) and I doubt that it will be added, at least not in this version. Having players loaded onto a map increases the amount of data that the server needs to process, so having spectators will make the game more laggy. This can especially be a problem for large maps and special events, where many players didn't get a spot in battle.

I'm a potato and I find this offensive.

I asked if perhaps you could see jut what the players were using before entering.

Yeah, I agree to this point, but along with this, there are too many drawbacks that come along, and they can't be ignored. So after seeing its pros and cons, conclusion says that it won't be wise to implement this idea...you see?

I don't see even a single person agreeing with the idea, according to the pool
