Firefox (BOO!) Chrome(YAY!)

Recommended Posts

Deploying mouse controls in Chrome is actually not possible, due to the Policies of Google...

Google would not allow the Mouse controls to function in its environment. So unfortunately, nothing can be done....

For me Firefox and Opera best. :)

On Chrome I had bug where I wasn't taking any damage or taking boxes so I think that Chrome is one of worst browsers to play tanki + lower FPS, Opera has more

I agree.

(on my computer), the TO graphics freak out when I run it on Firefox. I would like to have good graphics and mouse controls at the same time.

It would be nice if Google allowed mouse controls in dedicated browser games, but it's not something we can influence.

we need a client different from the standalone flashplayer. all the browsers suck in a way or another.

firefox is unstable and loads slow

chrome lags

opera lags and crashes

IE lags and loads slow..

As he told you, the mouse controls will NEVER be in Chrome, if you are curious, read this: http://help.tankionline.com/topics/3644-chrome-mouse-controls/

Firefox crashes because of the plugin flash is getting to be so bad anymore with constant updates. I really would like them to see about converting the game into a HTML5 compatible Flash like alternative. As a web developer, not many develop with flash anymore because of the browsers constantly crashing - Flash has been stable before - but isn't now. I don't usually use firefox because of it being slow on my computer - but that is the normal stuff with firefox, it is built differently than chrome.

I think chrome uses more processes than firefox, but crashes less.

How did this idea get added? I can't see a mod anywhere lol.

Also, why use any of those when Microsoft edge is here :P

It was posted before the section update and bumped up recently.

Since mouse controls won't be added to Chrome, no point in having this old topic.

Closed.
