• We have been dealing with this lag for 3 - 4 days now and still no information from the developers.
• Are you on holidays or do you just not care?  
• You wonder why players are losing respect for you. This is the reason why. A statement should have been made during the first day, but as usual we get nothing from you.
• Even your own mods are getting angry with the fact they want you to make a statement and all you give them is " we are aware of the problem".  You expect the mods to deal with your mess with no help from you. How sad for them, I feel sorry for them and wouldn't blame them 1 bit if they all walked of the job. In fact maybe it's time for a mods and players strike.

I think it's time to get your act together and start taking care of things like this. It's bad enough that you allowed this lag in the first place but now your say nothing to the players or your mods. Grow a spine, step up and take responsibility for your inaction.

Everybody is experiencing lags and glitches.

Just look at the many Tankers who leave a battle simultaneously after another huge glitch.

Wasn't lagging for me lately... But I guess I'm just one of em' lucky ones then.
So yeah, I agree, Tanki lags, there's nothing they'll do about, and there's nothing we could do about. So what now?

Everyone is frustrated about these situations, but devs? They seem to not care one single bit.

 

Moderators get insulted because of mistakes developers made, moderators are only there to assist players and make sure the Tanki environment is a safe and happy place.

 

Developers are responsible for keeping the game running smoothly, but are they doing that? Nope.

Personally I think not even the Devs can be blamed that much.

 

The main problem is Flash itself IMO.

TO Devs stretched Flash to it 's outer limits (and maybe beyond).

Our TO Flash is a huge and complicated webbrowsing game which exists of lots

and lots of code.

A relatively small change like it seems the testdrive update can accidentally influence

other parts of that huge Flash program: which ofcourse it shouldn 't influence at all

at the first place.

 

So they will have to dig deep in the code to find the error(s).

(our remove the update that most likely caused it)

 

Hopefully soon, because the game is close to unplayable now. <_<

They could very easily revert the update until they fix it but they won't. They would much rather have everyone suffer. Maybe this being done on purpose so they can say " Look how much better Unity is. Come play the new Tanki."  Sabotaging the flash version to make Unity look even better sounds like something they would consider.

The lag isn't even the big issue here. It is Tanki's complete lack of acknowledgement and /or explanation of what the problem is and when it might be fixed.   And they wonder why people comment that they have one of the worst customer service reputations ever seen.  Such a unprofessional run company.

What you said was kind of asking players to leave Tanki....and was neither a THAT strong reason....what all you said was TOO much...we all also play the game, we also experience the same issue, but not to that extent what you said...

Do you think that you would be giving a speech in public to leave the nation, and the police would just allow you to happily kick people from the country?

Yes, have been lagging for some days with 11 ping, but I'm sure they'll fix it.

 

And please don't act like they're sitting with their arms folded, I'm sure they'll do something about it.

Why so harsh? 3-4 days is an incredibly small time frame... lag is a very complex problem involving both hardware (game servers) and software (game design). You can't reasonably expect the Tanki team to identify and fix these issues so quickly. They're human, too!

 

Semyon has announced that an update that will fix the lag is coming up. Hang in there ;)
