Hi there ,

The lag started last week - 15-1-2016 and the problem that i can go any where in the map but i can't kill anyone and other tanks keep loop and nothing ever happens also when i join the battle for the first time i can't kill anyone or take any boxes !

Terrible lag the last 2-3 days. BT infintity broadband in the UK, no other problems with my connection, but the lag playing tanki is unbearable.

In RU3 server from just 10 mins. The server crashed and all of the players lost their fund and i was with them. Lagging is really unbearable now....

I have seen server lag in this game several times over the years. It would last for days and get fixed in days.

 

Now however I see lag often - today I can't play. I have observed server lag come and go since december. Often. I have a feeling we dont get the server capacity we once did.

 

If that is the case, I quit. This kind of server lag simply is a show stopper.

 

You just discuss own equipment and internet connection, but you are wasting your time. It is server lag.

Your correct, the lags start last week Feb 1 for me after 1 day its going fine and Again lag. The MOD ask only a question from us.  We thinking they are doing there job. Which is Devs. they know already what is happening to the server. Like my side i'm using Dell Desktop 990 i5,3.0ghz, 12GB memory and 2GB Dedicated Video card 20 Mbps. Fiber Optic internet connection Stand Alone flash player or Client for Tanki. Only tanki nowadays lags  not like 2013 to 2014. And sometimes it will disconnect automatic. But if you go to other online games is fine and watch live streaming no buffer.  Yes others has no lags but how about most of the players regular play on your Game everyday? If you want to stay us to your game then FIX it. Or you don't care the TO because you are focus on the Tanki X.

Well the lag don't bother me that much in the day time my ping is always around 88-150 in the morning but sometimes it might hit 600 and go back down one time from around 5:00 am in the morning to 5:00 pm in the afternoon i get no lag but as soon as 6:00 pm hit i start to get lag ping reach to 200, 999 and no one has my internet password becz i changed it. also when i go on tanki online and click battle it take likes 20 second to go on the battle u click on and even when i reach in and go to garage and pick my gun or hull and press back to go back to the battle the garage screen stay on my scrren so have to rejoin please tanki fix the lagssss Asap country Trinidad And Tobago.

I love how occasionally when I'm lagging severely the chat, battle log (That shows who killed who, I don't know the term), scores, and FPS/PING meter flicker and flash like Christmas lights.

Lagg started when newer updates happened... It is not under control please fix it I get 80 ping for a few minutes but i can tell i have more like 500 to 999 ping even though it said 80

For FPS problems, minimize the amount of programs running in the background and try to minimize graphical settings within the game, if possible. Ensure that your machine is properly cooled and that it doesn't heat too much as this may sometimes cause issues. If none of that helps you simply need a better machine — possibly by upgrading existing rig.

 

For ping, try using an ethernet cable instead of WiFi, as cables always carry a stronger signal. Make sure there are no downloads, video streams etc in the background. Try to connect to servers in your country and if need be, change your broadband provider.

Bad ping can cause issues such as opponents and your own character appearing frozen and at times warping, etc. 

 

If the game in question relies on individual frames for processing connection data then FPS can affect ping, though it's not actually affecting latency but instead the interval of how long it takes between updates from server. As such if the ping reported in game is counted between data updates/RPC's then it could be that. 

 

Otherwise FPS wouldn't and shouldn't affect ping. FPS is merely how often frame is rendered (how long it takes to draw it) and ping and networking is handled separately from drawing... Or should be?

One more thing, last night I was playing a battle with friends, and they said that this guy from the other team is always in battles with them, and that he is hacking. I told them I had terrible lag right then, and they said part of it could be from that guy hacking.

Yes sometimes i snipe with my shaft and the guy starts laging,i hit him and after 1 sec he is alive in other postition...I waste one hit and i need to recharge the slow shaft...Sometimes some noobs are pushing me in brest and if i start pushing him he starts to lag and flips my tank,or if he fall from second floor,he again start lagging and doesnt fall down ??? I think this is controled lag ?

 

Also sometimes sniping with my shaft and searching enemy there is no lag,but if i see somebody and aim to him,the game starts to lag and my sniping speed is 2x slower = i am hit from faster opponent (railgun).

Well, sometimes certain game servers start lagging more at night due to increased traffic during more active play hours. Sometimes your own connection may suffer from this increased traffic — usually around evenings and nights and weekends. I just recommend, to finish up here, that you make sure you have a good connection, run some online speed tests with it at different times to ascertain when it's working well and when it isn't, to see if it's your connection that is the problem.

Ever since October 9th the lag started. You guys always want to say you are trying to fix it by putting a band aid on this. How about you actual to some maintenance to the game instead of some minute long wait time. Add some real physics as well, make it like World of Tanks which I will play from now on. I am just done with Tanki, never playing it again and telling my friends all about this.

Usually when a lag happens i just refresh page and I'm back in the game with my score before the lag. Now, I cpuldn't even get back in the game, somebody else took my place and of course I lost my fund. Please fix these problems cause I'm losin the will to play. Thanks.

I suppose that Tanki Online are increasing amounts of traffic on their servers and the servers are not keeping up. This is a possible explanation. However if you want to play, don't try to play in a full server, such as RU1 and RU2. So you'll lag more and more. Try to play in a server where there is not a lot of players playing.

 

Lastly, the developers are aware of the lag problems, and they have made a topic on here saying that they are trying to fix the problem as soon as possible.
