Origins of the Combos.

We've used it, we've all seen it. They're Tanki combinations. A hull and a turret get locked together, and your goal is to obliterate some enemies. And many of the combos we use are usually effective. But the question is this: do we know where they came from? How they originated? Well, buckle up, as I take you back thousands of years to discover how some of the most famous tanks combos are being used today.

Thunder/Viking

Word has it 'round that this tank originated high in the Swiss Alps. This tanker, who goes by the name of Thunderis-Vikeris was tired of getting owned by Mammoth/Twins, so he sought to find the "perfect tank." Many of his followers say he spent days/months/years worshiping the Tanki Gods. After 12 days of eating nothing but himself, it finally came to his mind: THUNDER/VIKING.

He concluded that combining a huge cannon with a well-balanced hull would make a deadly combo. He was in fact, right. In his first match, his K/D was so high, the servers got so laggy and couldn't count his K/D. But that just shows the sheer power of this combo.

XP

Yep, you guessed it. A true legendary combo. Fit for most tankers, and in the right hands, can be deadly and annoying. But for now, we'll discover how this tank was discovered.

Year: 10,000 B.C

A long time ago, there was a young little boy. About ye tall, and decided he wanted to become a ninja. So he did as told, obeyed all his orders until he went to college. "I want to be a ninja and master the ways the Tanki!"

But see, the art of XP was not invented yet. For he had to invent it himself. Through harrowing work came dedication and pride. After all his work, it was ready for publication.

His teachings spread like a wildfire. Being greatly honored, many students learned the art of XP in TO. Many players follow this "XP religion" because it's something sacred. Something that brings this community together. And to this day, it's still being worshiped. Go to RU1 and learn his teachings. For many new pupils are learning too.

Wasp/Fire

Used by many who want easy kills or rather, just fun. Let's discover the true meaning behind the tank.

Legend has it that how Wasp/Fire was discovered was a bit shaky, so I tried to piece it together. Here's what I could collect from my CI.

Not one year ago, there was a tanker in dire need of crystals. "I need to make 20k by the sale tomorrow night! Send me a message, please!" And one was sent. During his sleep, he got two separate dreams: one of a fire being lit, and another one of him being chased by a swarm of Wasps.

He wasn't aware of the message, but when he thought about it, it made him think: but the only logical conclusion was Wasp/Fire. He wasn't sure what to expect, so he invited all his friends and told them to put Fire/Wasp on. They obeyed him. And in fact, it was much fun. In fact, they had so much fun that he managed to make is 20k with ease, and was able to buy his equipment.

"Thank you! I will spread word of this amazing format. You shall be remembered as the person who helped me earn my tank. Thank you again!"

And he did. Now-a-days, Wasp/Fire is considered "illegal" in TO; because of how easy it is to make crystals and XP. But then again, they don't really enforce it. Because in this game, it's more about fun than anything else.

Well, there you have it. Three tanks, their origins, and how they became so legendary today. Well, I know this is a corny way to end it, but.. guess I'll see ya around. Bye.
