Welcome speaking community tank . I am Russian forum threads and almost 80 percent of the members of the forum against this innovation . Administration of evading extremely vague and sometimes silly explanation .. Please express your opinion and not give away our right to vote !

Dear developers: just make good discounts and cool events and you wouldn't have to do that...

 

They make good discounts and cool events all the time and that is never enough to satisfy anyone!

 

If this were my game to do with as I please, I would shut it down for three weeks, during which time everyone would suddenly realize how good the discounts and events really are as they sit and pout because their game has been shut down.

 

Translation: be glad I'm not a developer.

I can tell by how extremely offended everyone is over the removal of a single button that everyone takes this stuff very seriously, and so if the entire game were taken from them, they would come to appreciate the good things Tanki gives them much more. Tanki would never do that, but as I said, if I were in charge, everyone would be taught just how good they have it.

 

I say again, I wouldn't last two seconds as a developer. I'm just not kind enough, and that is a flaw that I need to work on.

When did that ever get five hundred downvotes? True, it may not have been popular, but what do downvotes have to do with bad updates? Now, if you don't like a post, simply don't touch it. The lack of upvotes will be enough to suggest that it's not popular at all.

 

And even if there are sales of less than 50%, I bet my reporter paint..... well, perhaps not the whole of it, a wrench or two, maybe, that you buy stuff even during 40% discounts.

I disagree with your idea, hence the reason I post this. To explain why, instead of just down voting. And you are gonna read this post, or maybe u have already started reading it? So people do read the post when they're related to their own posts. (Which is psychologically logic).

 

I don't think anyone would write why they really downvoted, because that would just be useless to him. Most of the time people used the down vote button to disagree with the idea, without necessarily having to explain why, which didn't need much time, so it was quiet handy. Now, if you want to disagree with something, you have to explain it with you OWN words, and not with a red arrow going down anymore. So, what's the difference between explaining it in a post and explaining it in something like this:

I don't see any, except that the first one needs some scrolling skills… So if the problem is scrolling…

Another terrible update. I wonder why REAL problems like lag, and game not loading are not subject to updates... This update just serves the purpose of bad updates (like this one) not receiving downvotes...

^As you can see, I don't even need to explain anything. That is a downvote that is wasting forum space by being a comment. What on earth makes people think that removing downvotes will force people to give reasons for their opinions?

 

They can just type whatever they want to say, doesn't mean they will always give reasons for it, will they?

That is just what they want with this update: now not being able to downvote a bad update (like this one) a lot of players won't bother to make a comment, so tanki gets less negative feedback. They are slowly taking away every little freedom we have, until it becomes a complete dictatorship, and the worst part about it is that they LIE with every teeth they have, they didn't do this because it makes the forum better, they made so now it will seem like every update they make is good because it will always have at least a few likes. They know most tanki users are kids so they can just force feed everything they want making any excuse they want and a lot of users will roll over it.

I challenge you all to stop playing this game! If we don't they will slowly take away everything good about it. It's been on a downward spiral for months, and the worst part is that they are not honest, they make fake excuses for their terrible updates which they know ahead of time won't help anyone. And now they want to shut up everyone who can see through their lies, that's all this update is about, so they don't get downvotes when they launch yet again another update to make the game even harder and unfair.

Yeah, thank god for that

 

In a few years time i will be expierenced enough to become a developer, if i decide to go ahead, i will always put the players first as they are the customers and i would not impose updates that spoil game balance as well as the uniqueness of the game (which tanki lost a few months ago)

 

Of course if some updates are absolute you must go ahead with them, but updates like these are just not in that catergory
