Change in forum feedback mechanism

This update is just so that when Tanki introduces something noob new , they won`t get dislikes on it. People will have no choice but to ignore it (causing the feedback system to get even WORSE!)

Currently we are unable to downvote a post anymore. They said that we need to show it in a post. Most of the time, no one reads the posts at all. 

So I think that the downvote option should come back, but if someone wants to downvote, they must give a reason. This would work similarly to the report and hide options, where you would type in a reason. Only the person who posted can see the reasons.

While it does reduce the amount of people who will create alternative accounts to spam a topic or witch hunt a user with dislikes, it also forces people to invest more time into something, which will then reduce the amount of people willing to do so. Just something to think about. ;)

they reduced the number of spam accounts when they raised the rank to post in forum. however, raising the rank to post in forum does hurt the people who are actually that rank, not a spam account.

I'm kidding, but I really do think Tanki should do something that Facebook was even considering doing: instead of just plain Like or Dislike, users can select the kind of emotion they feel after reading the post. Basic things like :) :( :angry: B) :wub: :blink:

Not quite. One of the reasons, close to the one you suggested, was that lots of dislikes prevent a player from giving honest opinion. If a post, whether it's by us or by other tanker, has -20, most players wouldn't give it their honest feedback as they get a first impression from the dislike number, without even reading the post.

Tanki, you're getting laughable! I've never seen an online game doing this to their customers/players, And to think I was stupid enough to spend money on this game... But no more! I hope I lose all my interest in this game (thanks for the help, by the way!) and that many join me. Many players don't like this update . Does tanki care ?  "We want to listen you" Really, I don't see that ! 

 

From now on, Tanki can release  any update, without having downvotes, or a negetive feedback.   ( Tanki doesn't care from posts )  .
