I'm mad with all these updates... I know you made a few updates that were disliked, but because you had too (like removing Moon SIlence way back when). But a ton of these updates nowadays just simply aren't needed and are quite annoying to me (and I bet a bunch of others as well). Please, why?

Nope, I didn't. As long as I play with 20% protection all the time myself (veteran paint, legit) I know what advantages and disadvantages it gives you. Sure it helps to be 20% protected from enemy shots but... I got pwned by guys with 50% protection. Using 20% against every turret is a way to not bother what paint to choose. Convenience that is.

 

Also, there is another elephant in the room. 20% paint is really good on low ranks, yet we still introduced it. The problem is PROTECTION is built in PAINT. We do really want to give premium user a special paint, but he won't use it without protection. So 20% is a way to go, until we figure out how should we tackle this protection+paint problem.

Tanki Online has reached the epitome of imbalance. Buyers already have advantages, but still battles are "playable" for non-buyers. Yeah, the buyers buy kits and have loads of crystals to spend and hunt for XTs, it's not their fault and of course TO needs some income.

But, Premium accounts is another thing. What does it offer? A truckload of undue advantages that can overwhelm us non-buyers. A special paint with 20% protection from mines and all turrets.. that means every premium player will undoubtedly top battles with ease and get HUGE income by the 50% boost to crystals. Besides that, 50% XP until the Premium days finish. 

Well, that means that we non-buyers will be trampled over with these new updates taking away the enjoyment and equality of the game. Every dark cloud has a silver lining, but heck..this one has none.

We know that TO needs income, but this not the way! Why don't they just make a big noticeboard on the homepage of TO saying "ONLY FOR $$$" if they don't want to cater to us non-buyers? Income can be received from other sources not the actual gameplay.

 

 

 

I personally have pledged that I won't log in to TO if this update materializes.

We already have this to a degree with the supplies. We certainly don't need to add fuel to the fire, and go down the road of so many other MMO games.

Well, GOOD BYE TANKI.  Buyers have an advantage already with kits, now you are giving them a huge advantage with premium.  You have climbed out of the hole with the rebalance and the updates following that put you in, and you just slipped and fell back in. All updates have been good, but this one is a one that I will not stand for.

Its so unfair for players who are trying to battle and enjoy this game and yet you're putting it further in the trash with more updates ....and now premium pass.

Ugh.. devs, you took away part of crystals when simply buying, that you were terrified because there weren't so many buyers, then you gave 20k for 1st purchase, now premium accounts for ONLY buyers..

This game is going down.. shame..

Premium Account? Really? I think the difference between buyers and non-buyers is already quite big with the micro-upgrades, but this premium account is just one more update that increases the advantages when buying crystals. The concept of a premium account isn't too bad, but I think the current extra advantages as mentioned in the V-LOG must be adjusted. Earning point and crystals twice as fast is fine for me as well as the opportunity to buy kits with XT equipment. The special icon is no problem either. The special paint is something else. It gives them a too big advantage, really. Don't underestimate 20% protection from everything, including mines. It's extremely over-powered, especially when those players with a Premium Account have some decent MUs which they can buy thanks to the fact they'll earn crystals twice as fast. Please, remove the paint. The extra crystals are enough.

Premium account? Goodness, you can't be serious. The biggest advantage of Tanki over other MMOs is that buyers and non-buyers re equal. And now you come up with the idea of giving a ton of goodies to "Premium players". And the special icon for "Premiums"..... it's just ridiculous.

Premium accounts... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! We already have tons of buyers, drugging with their high-tech equipment, so what point are you staff members trying to prove? That you care about your budget more than you care about the balance of the game? Surely, without buyers, Tanki might cease to exist, but think of it this way- making a premium system will be the same as the 2014 Holidays: lots of buyers bought Frost and upgraded XT items, only thing is, now it's going to be permanent. Nice job guys.

 

To be fair with you, i'm not surprised that the "Dislike" button was removed 1 day before this V-Log was released...

Why is Tanki making their game pay to win?  I understand money is a factor but if you are going to change a game that you advertise as FREE to play, incorporate that into the Unity game, not into a game that players have invested time and money into already.

I was once promised by Hazel that premium accounts will happen in the future, he said that they will help you rank up quicker and buy things sooner, but he also said that having an advantage in battles will NEVER be a thing, this paint says otherwise, I guess he lied.

I agree that the premium accounts provide too much advantage to the buyers, the most biggest of them being the paint....(a small version of the Godmode_ON)...

But unfortunately, all of us know that they would be definitely introduced in the game...updates would not ever be reversed...

Many premium account buyers will be regular buyers too.... And they will receive experience and Crystals 50% faster. So yeah, we peasants are gonna get r3kt.
