After some thinking one thing came to mind. Are they ruining Tanki on purpose? 

 

With Tanki Unity coming out in a while they want to be sure players move over to it. Maybe players will just keep playing Tanki Flash. So what do they do? Install some bad updates so make players unhappy , and as soon as Unity comes out make it look like there's nothing wrong , so everyone will move over to the ''perfect'' Tanki Unity.

 

 

This post also made me think that they ruin Tanki on purpose:

This is the final nail in the coffin: only the name Tanki Flash remains to be painted on it.

Though in a way it 's only speeding up an already ongoing proces: TO Flash was already dying

due to the increasingly unbalanced battles.

 

First it really beats me how TO simply doesn 't seem to care at all about the best Tankers

that play their game, but will simply soon degrade all special paints that are given to those

special kind of Tankers who had to put in a lot of effort to get them.

Either by fighting for them in tournaments or by being active as a helper of TO.

Tankers with paints like Helper paint, Acid, Bronze and even Veteran paint are considered

to be equal (and even less looking at the protection levels) to the newbies

that can afford themselves a Premium account. :huh: Yup, money talks...

Not to mention the incredible overpoweredness this Premium paint will have

at lower- to higher ranks: only the highest ranks with fully micro-upgraded toppaints

like Zeus, Clay etc. can make a stand.

 

Another joke is how XT gamblers are being treated.

Personally I don 't get this XT mania at all, but it 's not good when fellow Tankers

are being treated unfair.

Now there will be one single day in the nearby future that every Tanker gets a

Premium account. So every Tanker will be able to purchase XT equipment at that day.

Well, that XT equipment has to be made incredibly expensive if TO understands

the meaning of fairness:

because quite a number of Generalissimo 's spend already huge piles of

crystals to try to obtain such a special XT mission.

TO even gave them tips how to "save some crystals" and improve the gambling chances...

(sidenote: from the V-Log it 's unclear to me if the Pro Battle pass will be still available for

non-buyers. Even if it is I will not be surprised at all if that 's the next "update" they are

planning. No more Pro Battle pass for non-buyers:

this will be the end of the XP/BP Format, Pro Battle are already quite rare now)

 

 

What will happen to TO Flash? Here 's a wild guess...:

TO Flash will soon only be reasonable playable for high rank Tankers who already have at

least one micro-upgraded and strong M3/4 combo.

At the low- to medium ranks the "Premiums" will soon rule if that Premium paint gets

indeed implemented. Another new advantage that buyers will have and this time you

really have to buy it, no chance to get it with crystals.

TO Flash will become a heaven for buyers and if the number of non-buying "victims" will

start to decline (the first exodus) those Tankers who think they are "Premium" will soon notice

that the lesser amount of Tankers around them is becoming increasingly Premium also:

so almost every account becomes equally strong thus ending the former overpoweredness.

 

This will trigger the second exodus, leaving only a few skilled Premium players on Tanki Flash.

Not soon after TO/Alternativa will pull the plug out of our once beloved TO Flash.

 

TO Flash and non-buyers: R.I.P.

since the x5 they were going crazy ;/ people earned like 300k in like 8hrs and they dont want people to get all m3s thats why they relased the viking xt and fire xt and wasp xt so peoople would speend all there stuff on mission then????

they are also trying to remove holiday discount no more 50%   Gess wat they need some $$ cause their

big boss needs more $$$ look at minecraft their communities are loads of people more people more $$$ and tanki doesnt understand it  :/ its not a play to win game 

 

another thing tanki wont be supporting 2 games at once they're to lazy to add new updates :/ so once they remove out beloved Flash TO

So many younger players don't realize how businesses work.  They expect to get a lot of attention and nearly everything for free from Tanki while they pay no money to Tanki.

 

Try going to a restaurant and tell them that you expect to receive free meals from the menu.  Maybe you don't expect the very best meal from the menu for free but you expect most everything else to be free.  They will laugh at you.  Make too much of a fuss and they will have the police come remove you.

 

Try going to a big store that sales a lot of different things and tell them you expect to get free items from them.  Again you don't expect the very best items to be free but you expect most everything else to be free.  Again they will laugh at you.  Again, if you make too much of a fuss they will have the police come remove you.

 

Try going to a business where you spend no money and make demands of what you want from them.  Try to harass their employees.  Try to harass their paying customers.  Again, the police will come and haul you away.

 

If you do go to a business and do manage to get things from them for free you should be grateful.  Maybe you don't get everything free that you would like, but getting something for nothing is better than getting nothing at all.

 

Businesses serve the paying customers.  If you really want something from a business that you like then you should find a way to earn some real money in real life and take your money to the business asking and paying for what you want to get.

I'm not writing this to make players upset, this is just a fact of life.

Tanki has been moving forward since it began despite non-paying customers being upset.  Tanki will continue to move forward with or without complaining non-paying customers.

I mean, ****, how can I believe you guys are trying to balance the game if you keep on adding crap like premium accounts? Do I even have to explain how this is going to unbalance the game? I understand how business works, and I understand that servers are expensive to run. But is there really no other way to bring in the cash?

Lol erm firstly I don't think I'm that young a person, I was once in a Business University Honours degree.

 

Customers are the core of any business. It seems to me that you are the one not understanding business. Do window shoppers get chased out by the store owners for trying out too many outfits in the fitting rooms, or get scolded by asking too many questions and leaving? If Macdonald's had some space and you sat down without ordering anything and started reading a book for half an hour, do you expect to get chased out? I hope not. (For most businesses, otherwise the bosses don't have a business mind). Because the bosses know that these shoppers will likely:

(1) return in the future to buy some stuff if they feel the service is good.

(2) decide to spread some good word about the shop and bring some friends in, who MAY start buying stuff or bring even more friends in

 

But chasing these "window-shoppers" away will result in:

(1) bad-mouthing the shop in social media sites, leaving negative reviews about service attitudes

 

I'm trying to use analogies as simple as possible. If you're not understanding it I don't know how else to explain.
