15% or 20% all-turrets-protection isn't a big deal if you are a higher rank.  If I'm in a battle with a lot of rail turrets my best paint is Prodigi and I put it on pretty quickly.  If I'm in a CP battle with a lot of firebirds my best paint is Loam and I go right to it.  My rank is high enough that these specialized paints are possible.

 

For lower ranks a 20 all paint probably is too much.  I'm sure Tanki devs have given a lot of thought about making the number smaller for lower ranks and having the number increase quickly for higher ranks -- to 20 and maybe even higher.  Players paying real money better get something for their money.

 

The one thing I don't doubt at all is that the Tanki developers want Tanki to be the very best it can be for free-to-play players and for pay-to-play players.  Changes are coming and changes will always continue to come.  The only constant in life is change.

 

The developers aren't the bad guys.  They are the good guys.

if you play with m4 team against m3,I do agree,in other cases,your statement is fail,especially in mid range maps with 8-12 players :)

Unfortunately, you just want him to answer because he has no way of proving the number of buyers at his rank. However, might I remind you that you don't have any proof either to just estimate it as being 10% of the players.

 

So when AA replied with his opinion based solely on experience, you say he wasn't meant to answer it. Why won't you accept the reply instead of dismissing it because you meant it for the person who can't reply with proof?

damn update from tanki .... this gonna stop playing me from the game ,which i am addicted still now ..i am happy for that .soon gonna leave tanki online permanently ... and start my life beautifully .. and buyers can really enjoy this wonderful update treat from tanki unity ... and non-buyers will surely leave this game ,when the update is launched .... And if you have skill you will make it big in the game (good players are capable tackling druggers though they are annoying <_< )

 

But the premium account system seems to benefit only buyers [since it seems to be available only to them -_-] with that 20 percent protection paint along with other advantages and thus undermining the spirit of the game.

 

I know that many people hate the upcoming premium account system but it is still not here! and once it does come it can change.

I suggest instead of expressing your anger and hatred, think of solutions! If you think you have a good solution post it, and if it is indeed

a good solution then it will be upvoted and the developers will consider it.

 

My suggestion is that instead of making the premium account only purchasable through real money, (therefore available only to buyers)

make the premium account available through in game currency CRYSTALS.

 

Thus both normal players and buyers can buy the premium account.

As a general suggestion you are right. But complains (at least mine and some others) come quite after many ideas and suggestions have been proposed.

Try to fight M4 Isida on drugs with M4 Viking and health kit. Get rekt. If you don't drug you die. x_x Skill is NOT enough. Maybe at low ranks when druggers can't even turn their turrets and bump into walls 24/7, or jump off cliffs accidentally. :lol:

By the way, isn't the point of membership (premium) so that people pay more $$$$$? No, not crystals. I mean money -> $$$.

Tanki wants money, it's a business bro. So I think asking if premium can be bought with crystals is out of question.

Okay okay, I KIND of lied in the title, this IS a rant.

But for the developers who invested their all in this game for you hissy-fitting freeloaders. (Being a hypocrite is fun!)

 

What is the goal of a company?

To make money!

How does the F2P game do so?

By letting you ACCESS it for free, not enjoy it to it's fullest.

 

The point of the premium accounts IS a cash-grab, yes, I agree there, but F2P as a GENRE is one of the best things to happen.

If we never had this happen, the game wouldn't be as well-know as it is. The main reason for me saying this, is because the developers WANT their game to be fun for  the whole family!

But if you keep ruining their publicity, how can they?

 

If, for say, I went to a toy store, and bought a shiny red ball. And it popped, and I go into the store and say "WELL THIS PIECE OF(CENSORED) BROKE BEFORE I EVEN GOT HOME I'M MAD AND SPREADING THE WORD!" What do you think would happen?

They would possibly call the police on you for making a scene, but my point is their public image would go down.

 

Case in point; the mods.

The mods probably hate the update as much as us, but their JOB is to help the developers by monitoring the forums, not delete bad posts.

 

They do this to help the game, not to hunt down the players.

 

When that video was made, you ALL know the one, the community became one big crowd of protest, hatred, and anger.

All because of some rumors, or toy-store-ranters, that have no solid backing.

 

I was with that crowd, but having not watched that video, I had no clue. Now that I've thought this through, these premium accounts are the SOLUTION to our problems.

 

One, they'll get the buyers out of our hair, and while they're facing against the ACTUALLY SKILLED GM's, we'll be gaining that skill the natural way.

 

Two, they'll give the buyers something for their money.

Drugs are not really something you can flash around like a new phone, are they?

 

And finally, they'll give us non-buyers a fun game.

 

So for the love of Christ, stop complaining!
