For the gradually increase of protection (5%, 10%, 15%) I still propose to make 3 paints, all that look the same and unlock at different ranks

Like:

PremiumPaint M1: unlocks at Recruit, 5% against all turrets, 0 crystals, only available for premium users

PremiumPaint M2: unlocks at rank_12, 10% against all turrets, 0 crystals, only available for premium users

PremiumPaint M3: unlocks at rank_24, 15% against all turrets, 0 crystals, only available for premium users

I pay, and I entertain myself by playing this game, and as a business, you have to pay respects to my opinion, and not treat a customer as a  ... kid. t paid. 

If you want someone listen to you, you better stop telling them to go to the doctor. Even if you disagree a certain minimum amount of respect is needed. Also/Especially when you don't get the amount of respect that _you_ deserve by the other party (like it happens here from time to time..).

From Business point of view:

Ice-Cream could be anything a customer likes to have, right? So.. lets assume someone is angry and "demands Tanki to close down today and he paiys 10 USD for it". Do you expect Tanki to "give him this kind of IceCream"????

 

 

From Customer point of view:

The Ice-cream story really gives some the feeling to be treated like kids. So also Tanki should stop using this picture. There are better ways to explain why not all wishes can be fullfilled for a cheap price.

Yep.

As a workaround i proposed that a XT item for premium users costs between 1.5 Mio and 3Mio crystals. Then the guys who receive it through luck with missions and through hard work still can feel special, as the high price gives it muck more "value", that can't be purchased sooooo easily

Which only proves that players will buy items that are nothing more then cosmetic upgrades. But Tanki wrongly assumes the only way to sell premium accounts is to offer power over others. I'm not sure why they always seem so blind to reality.

@National.Insecurity: The +50% crystal bonus doesn't bother me at all IF AT THE SAME TIME they earn +50% EXP points.

If they earn +50% crystals but gain normal EXP points, then that will be problematic. They'll have a way bigger upperhand. Too OP.

After thinking for quite a while... I don't think I will be buying this 'Premium Account'. Nothing for lower ranks except being a shiny target for enemies. (Not interested in 50% XP & crystals ATM.) -_-

Let us see the imbalance. Other than Premium Accounts the other causes are mults, supply raids, buyers and kits. Add this to Premium Accounts and then we are all bait for buyers. I mean how can you destroy a drugged Premium Account with 15% of all turrets and mines? With DA that guy would survive at least  3 mines ( hornet m2) and of course popping mines= capping flags. They either have to nerf drugs or remove supply kits, or remove Premium Accounts. If both are there, then R.I.P Tanki, you deserved it.

An m4 rico vs a PA m4 viking would require one less shot to destroy it. (on average)

 

But we shouldn't be looking at this PA paint from the point of view of any one single turret. It is the overall effect of this paint that will make it op.

If I wear Clay then there are 8 turrets out there that inflict 100% of their damage against me.

If I wear PA paint, All 11 turrets would be reduced to inflicting 85% of their damage against me.

PA players won't be short of double armour so watch out.

 

We're too fickle here. We should not be appeased by this measly 5% change. We should be demanding PA Paint removal. 

 

PA accounts would be 100% approved across the communities if they did not offer any power advantage. There are plenty of ways to a make a player stand out and boost revenue at the same time. This is just another example of TO shortsightedness that will only hasten the downfall of flashTO, which is probably the intention all along if you ask the most cynical among us.
