The problem that I have with premium accounts is that takes away strategy. A paint that protects you 20% from EVERYTHING is too much. I think that if you do put in the premium accounts, make it available for a crystal income, it can be extremely expensive, but making it available would be just a small nice touch, or even helpers of the month get one, as they deserve/ earned it, unlike just buying it to buy it. besides, why would a buyer need 50% more crystals, seems counter intuitive.

So how many pop-ups on screen will there be trying to get us to buy this premium pass? Every time we enter? Every battle we enter? That's what WoT does.

 

This game will go from fair to pay-2-win, how expensive will it be? At least make it a purchase in the garage.

Nope, I didn't. As long as I play with 20% protection all the time myself (veteran paint, legit) I know what advantages and disadvantages it gives you. Sure it helps to be 20% protected from enemy shots but... I got pwned by guys with 50% protection. Using 20% against every turret is a way to not bother what paint to choose. Convenience that is.

 

Also, there is another elephant in the room. 20% paint is really good on low ranks, yet we still introduced it. The problem is PROTECTION is built in PAINT. We do really want to give premium user a special paint, but he won't use it without protection. So 20% is a way to go, until we figure out how should we tackle this protection+paint problem.

Do you really think that a 20% against all weapon is not an advantage but only "no bother what paint to choose"? Don't you think that you are simultanously protected from more than 3 weapons ... isn't it a great advantage?

Nooo, shush, Tanki is running low on cash lately... So they said some trash that they've been planning this idea since Tanki's birth while it actually was an idea by some guy in Ideas and Suggestions. But of course, he didn't mention anything about buying it with $, just crystals, but Tanki loves cash, so why not?

This is a special ocasion. This whole PREMIUM thing is a thin line between pay2win and free2play. I am here to make sure we stay on the right side.

I didn't spent more than 4 minutes in a non-PRO battle because of the buyers. The game is better in private battles.

But you picked the "private battle" option into the PRO battle because "The game is a public thing, play together with all community and player" or something like this. Discrepancy.

Premium accounts is exactly what Tanki needs.  It will provide a constant steady income for Tanki.  This is exactly how other popular games pay the bills.  Players who already love and play Tanki and support tanki financially will benefit from this.  Players who play for free will still be able to play for free.  Without steady income nobody would be able to play Tanki because the business would go bankrupt and close.

Tanki, or Alternativa Platform, has quite huge income, not talking about how they avoid proper work and taxes payments!

Please don't justfy any Tanki money drain from players as a "need" to earn to keep the game active. Make some calculations as I did, and you will see that!

(Future wiki description) A paint issued to the best buyers of Tanki (such as OUFA etc). But that's not what it's meant to be known for, it's meant to prove that you actually have premium account. Tankers won't believe you actually used $800 on your account, so the paint, proves it all!

 

PS: Tankers, we just to launch a new update called "Godmode_ON." Now, for $999.99, you can purchase Godmode_ONs paint (Devil) for one entire minute! Impressive, isn't it?

I don't think 20% is not an advantage. I KNOW it is not an advantage. I tried it many times, it is not that good. It feels like "OMG 240% total protection so OP!" but it doesn't. Single railgun DD shot and this paint falls flat. Only reason to use this kind of paint is not to bother with choosing paint. Or being fancy, lol.

 

But we both know you don't care for what I say. So make another comment crushing me all around, I am fine with that.

As I said, we were looking for something unique for premium users. Paint is a good way to go, but paint without protection is not going to be used. So we choosed a better fitting protection, which can be used without MUs (as long as paint given only temporarily). Problem is paint consists of paint itself and protection. We are aiming at dividing paint and protection into two separate entities, therefore we can be fine with adding 20% all-rounder protection for a while. Because as soon as paint will be separated from protection, there will be no point to give premium paint any protection at all, so it will be discarded.

 

And yeah... it might happen we will sell paint with protection from everything with crystalls. Not that big of a deal.

Are u telling that u are gonna give to premium users a special paint with protection and after a while u are gonna take back the protection and let them the paint only?
