TOURNAMENT

 

 

First of all, let me give you a sort description for new items in tournament section.
you will see later where and when will be used

The tournament will be split in II parts. Each part was precise calculate.
I must begin with part II (you will see later why)


Part II
Rank Range - Brigadier - Generalissimo
Max team main Players : 6

Stage 1 - Elimination stage

Number of free slots available = 48 . Number of bonus/qualification slots = 16.
The "16" slots are reserved for qualification team from Part I , teams with Wild Ticket (or wild card)
Elimination stage From Part II settings : Elimination from 96 teams,to 48 teams.
The elimination stage will be played with this settings:

We will make 8 Groups with 6 team per group.
Each team from each group will play 5 matches. 1 match with each team. After the play off ,
Only first 4 team from each group will go further ( means 32 teams) In case of tie between 4-5-6 place,
mathematical distance will go on: ratio flags win/lose

Random, the non-winning teams will get a WT.

4 teams will have one more chance to be again in game. Who will get the WT ? we must find a system lottery. ( for example ,I see an website where you can insert the numbers and then the random lottery will give you a number (random)

Now I must to skip to PART I from this tournament. (remember, i start with Part II)




Part I

In Part I is almost the same like first stages from Part II. The competition/elimination/qualification/playoff is for lower ranks.From Warrant Officer 2 to Colonel. Maybe you will ask " why? "
1- Because the first 12 teams from this range (lower rank range) will take a spot in that big range rank ( second part of tournament) We have 36 from second part + 12 teams from first part .
2- I know, the first part tournament have low ranks and they can not compete against highest ranks... but here is the beauty part . Here we have 14mgr3p.png Bonus Ticket +20% Rail Protection
The bonus Ticket +20% protect paint will go for the 12 qualification teams. (settings about that later)

To be able to participate in this tournament you must be at least Warrant Officer 2 - maxim Colonel.
The TO has a lot of players in this range and quickly will see how teams are be form. ( because is low-middle rank and is easy to reach)
Point is : after elimination/qualification ( 12 teams). must reach the General rank to be able to go in second part . ( here is another surprise muj1wo.png Lucky ticket. LT give you (you team )possibility to go in second part of tournament even if you team does have General rank yet. Lucky ticket reduce 3 ranks (what means that: if your team is 1 of that 12 winning teams , and your team dose have no time to rank to General, LT allow you to go in second part just with Major Rank ( all players from team must be at least major rank)

-Each match consists in tow rounds (Red/Blue- automatic swipe side)
-Each round will be set at 18 (3 minutes preparing and 15 battle) Battle start when clock reach 15:00 (Game Time)
-Maximum reset rounds : 2 resets
- In preparing time battle ( 3 min), both team must form a line for check"set"

- The map has 3 control points ABC and are symmetrically
-Total points from both rounds will be the total score and the winning team will be the team with highest score: ( In case of drawn, the 3th round will go but counting points will be the total points from Round 1&2)

Example for winning :
Round 1 | Team X vs Team Y = 80 - 45
Round 2 | Team X vs Team Y = 10 - 55
Total round 1+2 - team X ( 80+10 = 90 points)
Total round 1+2 - team Y ( 45+55 = 100 points)
Winner : (Team Y)- with total points - 100
(Yes, team X win first round but overall has less points)

Example in case of drown:
Round 1 | Team X vs Team Y 70 10
Round 2 | Team X vs Team Y 40 100
After tow rounds each team has equal points (110 points)
Round 3 | Team X vs Team Y 80-66
The winner of Round 3 will go further with Sore 110 (Team X ,because they win round 3)

General Team Settings:

-Main team Players : Each Player will use one Hull/Turrets/Paint from "Set"
2. General "Equipment Set" Info:

-Hulls Allowed : Wasp,Hornet,Hunter,Viking,Dictator,Titan
-Turrets Allowed : Smoky,Firebird,Twins,Railgun,Isida,Thunder,Freeze,Ricochet,Hammer,Vulcan.
-Paints Allowed : Flora,Marine,Swamp,Forester,Metalic,Lava,Invader,Safari,Dragon,Magma.
(Only "Single Protection" Paints )

-Example of right combo:

-Is prohibit to have two items identical : Hulls/Turrets/Paints. Once you use an item from set, the item can not be use anymore.

It was clearly stated in one of the V-Log that all external contract for tournaments have been ceased,

 

I do know that very well and all I am saying is that it was a terrible idea.

CP on those maps??..LOL..please,remove it (CP) from options to battle..if you really want CP tournament,I will be glad to provide you rules from unofficial RU CP championship..note,they are only played on 1 point maps,and those were:Garder,Arena,Island,Polygon,Sandbox and were picked by crossing..CP on maps u mentioned is..I don't even know how to describe it..TDM proablly..

We are only invited , because we understand CP and all Russian/ Ukranian peoples respect us because we are really good at it.. Peoples from EN dont understand CP games, and you cant play it at those maps with 10 points, CP is 1 POINT! .. CP is not bassed on HORNET AND WASP AND HUNTERS AND RAILGUN/SHAFT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apologies guys, ever since posting this topic I never had a chance to even come read any of the posts in here.  As some of you may know I'm an uncle and since Sunday evening I have had a kid over here , spilled Mountain Dew everywhere on my laptop, its sticky and well, can't blame him too much either he's just a kiddo and he's been sick and coughing :(

 

Well, back to business, good thing I linked the RU topic in the OP, cause it seems our Russian colleagues could not wait for us to finish some long "truth or dare game" there was in the past few days in this community, and so they made considerable progress it seems.

 

I will check on all that and this topic and report to you any updates where necessary.

Like 1st . congratz for becoming uncle.. :)  And yes, you should link to RU2 and you'll may see a big CP maps, but that maps are only made for Missions.. And of course the maps with 1 point are all pro battles, and they are all over the CP mode!

DS Can you exclude Parma and Osa from that list?
1. Parma can be defined as a pathetically ugly,non understandable map
It gets 2nd prize for that (1st prize won by madness)
2. Osa....what's that? Never even played there :P

1 - Parma and Osa Maps: I try to include most of symmertic maps for balanced game , even if your team play on red or blue side.

 

2 - Players: 6 Main Players and 3 Reserve Players.

LE: the maps are there for a reason. If u look @ rank range and at the format battle ( CP and Uniqe "set" settings) , you will see why those maps are there). Low ranks must play also in a balanced map. Over all, all maps are there by a strict calculation.

 

And...why not ...more new things , more fun!

It will be as Starladder 6 players... as it will be a team tournament.

No, you have to decide as per the given 3 formats.

Must be 6 main and 3 reserve because the tournament format and maps request that. It

Was calculate for each stage. Also

The AT ( alliance ticket ) work only with 3 players ( half a team)

CP tournament

 

 

 

 

TOURNAMENT SETUP

 

tournament is played in "Cup" system

 

winner of the 2 paired teams in tournament will be the one who first reach 2 wins by rounds

 

all tournament matches (rounds) except final stages,will be played till 50 CP points per round

 

final stage (last 4,semi final/final) will be played till 100 CP points per round

 

sides are determined during rounds by dividing into home teams and visitors

 

team listed first or to the left in the game schedule will be deemed to be the home team

 

team listed below or to the right in the game schedule will be deemed the visitors.

 

at the beggining of the round,home teams take place on blue side

 

 

maps for the tournament are: Sandbox,Garder,Island,Arena and Polygon and are picked by crossing out system,made by captains of team scheduled to battle via Skype 15-30 minutes before scheduled battle

 

captain of the visitors team is obligated to start croosing out maps first (1 map by turn),after him captain of the home team crosses 1 map,etc,untill 1 map remains,which will be the map to play battle on

teams wait for timer to count till 70:00,after timer counts 70:00 ALL players on map are pressing "Delete" button to selfdestruct,at that point,after respawn,they are startning to battle

 

NOTE: NO equipment change is allowed in preparation time!

 

players in combat are free to change their equipment once the battle starts

 

teams are allowed to continue with battle if they play with maximum of 1 teammate less then maps maximal team capacity is allowing (example:team is valid to play with minimum of 5 players on garder,7 on polygon,2 on island,3 on arena and 3 on sandbox)

 

teams that have less then stated minimum numbers per map will suffer technical defeat

 

equipment for the turnament

 

Hulls: ALL

 

Turrets: ALL

 

Paints: ALL except prize paints

 

Important note!

 

in case of flipping or turning over,it's forbidded to leave battle and reeneter,selfdestruct needs to be started

 

Both captains are obligated to record all round end outcomes,and the captain of the winning team is obligated to post ALL screenshots on Forum to claim win

 

teams can register maximum of 12 and minimum of 8 players

 

team substitutions are unlimited during the battle

 

players can pay for only 1 team per tournament

Diversity is the name of a real tournament. I;m not here to show you how many gaps i see in your tournament, but here is not the right place for that.
