Hey man, thank you for explaining how the pay works for chat and forum moderators.

 

However, I just wanted to point out that for Facebook moderation, the system does indeed work as pay-per-comment, as was suggested. This system is prone to abuse, and through my career I have several experiences to share.

 

I, personally, have been tempted to simply comment for the sake of it - and some moderators do indeed do just that, replying with a simple smiley face, or some other useless acknowledgement.

 

To take the most memorable example, former moderator at one point in time went to old Question of the Week videos, which had already finished and winners announced, just to copy and paste the answer "Thanks for entering!" on hundred and hundreds of comments. Mia and I called him out, and FBI did a stellar job at resolving the problem, but this just shows how prone the system is to abuse from selfish or immoral individuals.

Jeez, they get paid for commenting, how much crystals are we talking about if it is like 1 crystal for a comment then its minor but if its over 100 dang thats a bit unfair on us, infact the fb mods dont do much, i agree kirby :)

People ask questions about GMTS and the mods are LIKE google it :/

And i say i do not have reason to not believe u but if after september sales (-10% no MU etc) we have new reduses in sales in halloween and christmas then something is wrong.

This is exactly why my comment is irrelevant! You asked a question, I gave you the answer, but you telling that you are going to accept it only if sales are high. But they won't be! Semyon already told that last year's huge sales was a mistake, so this year's are definitly aren't going to be that huge, so you will tell me that I am lying regarldess! What is the point than? :D

It's been said over and over again that nobody knows if accounts will be transferred, and I don't think even developers will know until the game is further fleshed out. They said in the V-log it will depend on the new economy. We'll just have to wait and see.

About the first one: the Daily Missions system needs to be in balance with the game. This means players shouldn't be earning more crystals than they are spending, otherwise the game would start dying (not Tanki-want-all-of-our-money thing, it's a general practice in any MMO, a rule of survival). To keep this balance we are adjusting the crystal/supply prize ratio for Daily Missions. Sometimes it gets decreased, at other times it gets increased. So, it's a dynamic thing really, being analyzed by our GDs and analysts.

 

Second one is true. With the removal of crystal boxes, all the crystal boxes value went directly into battle funds, which resulted in faster battle fund growth, and, potentially, more gold boxes being dropped. The gold box drop rate is a balanced thing, and to keep it at the same level as before, the chance was decreased from 1/7000 to 1/10000. But because of the faster battle fund growth, it's the same as before in terms of how often boxes are dropped.

Ok, Semyon, I think many Tankers would rather you take out some Daily Missions (worth about 3k Crystals or 3k crystals worth of Supplies) and drop the Gold Drop Rate back to 7,000. I'm saying this because lower ranked battles have lower Battle Funds, theoretically and some 60 minute battles that I've played in, haven't got even 1 Drop, now that's just unfair. Please, just make it easier to get Golds so more people can have a shot at actually getting a Gold Box. Most people change at least 1 of the non-crystal earning Missions anyways.

Not true.

 

It was the case on the first day of the update, but it was fixed soon enough. You just wasting your time doing that.

There is no economy though.  An economy requires a transfer of crystals between players.  Tanki there is none which makes the game so bad.

I belive we both got different definition of 'economy'. Crystals transfering between player will ruin this game due to economy system is not suited for this kind of interactions. I will be able to pour every crystal from my gyzmo account to my recruit accout, buy everything, destroy everyone and never bother about crystals anymore. This is a nightmare.

No, this is compleatly not fair.

 

Problem is producer who made that decision was fired due to... well... fired :) The project got changed, though you can't tell it apart from the old one. And we have to change our approach. Old project was easily transferable, new one isn't. So this is naturally sad that we have to backtrack, but we just can't keep the promise that simple.

I can't tell you the whole story, but the part of it is crystalls as currency got hugely devaluated due to that approach. You may say that huge discounts made it pointless to buy anithing when there are no discounts, but this is really rough oversimplification of the real problem.

Appointed coding team should be back to the new project as soon as possible, otherwise it will be delayed.

Nope. It doesn't happen that often and given crystal mass being handled by following discount. Besides, giving crystalls and giving discounts are the same things only on the surface.
