There is no economy though. An economy requires a transfer of crystals between players. Tanki there is none which makes the game so bad.

I belive we both got different definition of 'economy'. Crystals transfering between player will ruin this game due to economy system is not suited for this kind of interactions. I will be able to pour every crystal from my gyzmo account to my recruit accout, buy everything, destroy everyone and never bother about crystals anymore. This is a nightmare.

 

Let me explain what is trying to say in a different way. 

As you know the in game currency is crystals. Each crystal equals a certain amount of real money and the company must keep track of every crystal that is in the game. So when Tanki says they need to keep the economy balanced they mean they can't give away more money then they are taking in, minus whatever they need to make a profit after overhead costs. By allowing players to transfer crystals between accounts, it would lessen the amount of crystal people buy. So the less crystals people buy, the less crystals Tanki can give away and still maintain balanced books. If you need any more explanation just ask.

I have an issue with the fact the admins and some mods are calling themselves "volunteers". I was willing to volunteer some of my time but found out it was more like a paid job.

 

 I was asked to apply for a moderators position a while ago. I was told that I would need to spend a lot of time doing the job. I told the admin that I didn't have that much time and only could do it a few hours a day about 3 times a week, but would still be willing to take the position. The admin then told me that it had to be much more time then that or not at all.

Well this seems contradictory to what a "volunteer" is. Now, some are saying they don't get paid and some say they do, but at that time the mods I know were getting paid. First you may want to get your stories straight and second if I'm expected to put in a minimum amount hours adding up to more then a part time job and getting paid, that's a "paid job" therefore staff, not a "volunteer".

 

The logic is flawed, as usual. "We don't have enough mods" but yet you don't want my help or anyone else's unless we are willing to do commit to your terms of full time hours. Oh well, your loss not ours.

Basically since Gismos have nothing to buy for the most part they would just become crystal miners due to their equipment and then just transfer their winnings to other people - alt accounts, friends, etc. Essentially crystals would have no value - just as they really have no value to Gismos after a certain point. Nobody would need to buy crystals ever again because all the Gismos would just sell them on the black market - bypassing Tanki's payment scheme altogether.

 

A Gismo could offer 400,000 crystals for $25 through PayPal and undercut Tanki - essentially making playing a source of income while preventing Tanki from earning income.

 

This is why refunds and transfers aren't allowed.

Tanki, sorry to say, but you guys are.. slow, you dont want good of your own players! thats it. it doesnt proves just from the updates you give, and those negative comments , noob updates! 

 

yeah! on 9th august my acc got hacked and hacker spent my 252k crystals, i provided the help desk with ALL the info, even the exact value, and still they were not giving me my crystals back. GOOD very GOOD mods, banning the enemy of yours and supporting your friends, i would say, EN community should give you a huge applause right? (claps)

No, let me tell you what I see.  I see that I did not target a certain person, I mentioned a certain lack of understanding by game creators which is being covered up by the mods.

 

But instead, what is the reaction?  People are targeting the characters of mods or the personal character of myself.  I am being called a cheat, a liar, a savior, a hero for a video that I never could have forseen having such an effect.  Mods are being called corrupt because of the past actions of individuals and for simply doing their jobs. 

 

Despite how much I disagree with the job being done, in the end, as Issho tells me, he is only doing his job, and not much more.

 

My interest is in assuring the transparency of what is happening in Tanki. 

 

I hate things that are hidden from me, and I hate uncertainty, and too much is happening right now, and it's resulting in a dying game, especially within the EN community.

 

It is an environment of hiding things and deception, the whole problem is general, not one or two individuals whom are perpetrating it.

mods and admins are simply players like us, people calling them corrupt is not right. i support mods and they are only doing the job which they were tasked to. players should also do the task they have and that is testing the updates and giving our opinions on it instead of calling the mods corrupt (ik ik test server is not possible )

You can't get blocked for posting a video even if it reveals secrets about the background of a game although tanki can get his channel taken down since his video is attacking their product as there is laws protecting directly attacking someones product ;)

For instance in Canada you can't say rogers is a crap company but Bell is Amazing or start revealing secrets to why rogers is so bad and how u are better.. so on and so forth
