Dear friends,

 

Lately we've been receiving queries and complaints from several of you concerning certain information and misinformation that have been circulating around the community.  We would love to spend a few time with you all and help dispel some of those myths and rumours, and to also help in clarifying any of the doubts you may have had during the past few days.

 

Feel free to ask about those in here, but please make sure your posts do not violate the Game rules as this is still the Tanki forum.  Also no need to post links to external sites and videos, we've already seen them.  Just asks your questions directly.

We would love to spend a few time with you all and help dispel some of those myths and rumours, and to also help in clarifying any of the doubts you may have had during the past few days.

 

so that's one of my doubts, and it's related to the game, as the moderators are directly related to the game.

how does that correlate with my implication? You are implying that me spending 2 minutes of my life, typing down this message, is much worse than them wasting 10 hours of their daily life moderating a game that mostly 15 year olds get to enjoy?

I care about the game, otherwise I wouldn't be here asking questions. Like I said, NO moderator should spend more than a couple of hours at most a day. 10 hours is insane. Something here is wrong, and that's definitely not up to me to figure out.

About the first one: the Daily Missions system needs to be in balance with the game. This means players shouldn't be earning more crystals than they are spending, otherwise the game would start dying (not Tanki-want-all-of-our-money thing, it's a general practice in any MMO, a rule of survival). To keep this balance we are adjusting the crystal/supply prize ratio for Daily Missions. Sometimes it gets decreased, at other times it gets increased. So, it's a dynamic thing really, being analyzed by our GDs and analysts.

 

Second one is true. With the removal of crystal boxes, all the crystal boxes value went directly into battle funds, which resulted in faster battle fund growth, and, potentially, more gold boxes being dropped. The gold box drop rate is a balanced thing, and to keep it at the same level as before, the chance was decreased from 1/7000 to 1/10000. But because of the faster battle fund growth, it's the same as before in terms of how often boxes are dropped.

if thats the case...my dear semyon...i have received missions worth less than 3350 crystals which i used to before the missions update .why do I get more mines and speed boosts in my rewards?why not the other 2 supplies? can you explain?

 

second point which you told me..about how goldboxes fall at the same rate.that is abasolutely wrong my friend.you really need to play more to understand that gold boxes sometimes would not fall even in funds worth 50k in english servers whereas the number of goldboxes falling in the same map and environment are more.

 

if you do not agree.my friend who is goldhunter of the week can vouch for this.he tells me the number of goldboxes falling in the russian servers with the same battlefund approximately ar emore than compared to english servers.I know that this is a russian game but trust me we pay for the game and this kind of thing should not there.

 

Kindly take my words with a pinch of salt and as constructive criticism. A sound buyer is telling things.

first of all , i personally have never seen mods sit here for 10 hours

but then again if u care about this game so much then u should be happy it is being monitored properly

u know one thing i can tell u , i DONT want anyone interfering in my life and asking questions about it simply because they care

call it selfish or whatever humans are like that and basically a guy who is sitting on the other side of the world telling ME that its not good to help someone for a little long time using the TIME of MY LIFE......somehow i dont like that

Believe me or not but I have seen Chinthughost in EN 2 for 6 hours chatting with players and Solving their Problems.Same with D.S ,Saw him answering to players Questions in RU1 .Man For them Tanki is more than a game.

i would also like to point out how tankionline as a company works:- kindly read it..

 

1) they make updates and tunr on the motivational actor for playing tankionline without understanding their decisions in the first place.i see many mods defending the mission rewards reducing in half.if that was the case.why did you guys give higher rewards?why even increase our appetite? thats like you feed your pets good food and then you come back to bad stuff the day after..thats cruelty.I expect a the company to be more responsible from now before they roll out future updates keeping in mind that people do not like a lot of change sin things.

 

2)the way company works is first they roll out an update which helps company use crystals.take for example XT items:- XT items were put itno game 1 month back and many tankers were lured into changing the missions.Tankionline in their V-LOG 62 even gave tips to how change missions..and get XT missions.wonderful.how nice is tankionline!!

next week in v-log we see that if we buy premium accounts.we can afford an XT item without the changing of missions.so basically all those people who wasted crystals for changing missions were fools.tanki had already planned the PREMIUM AND xt update well in advance.the idea was to make people buy crystals and waste it on changing missions and then by the time they have made money out of it,so roll the XT update.

As others said it's their life, and it's not up to you or me to decide what they are doing with their free time and where and how they are going to spend it. We're certainly not forcing anyone to do this or that, and it's not wrong just because you think so - I've seen players playing marathon battles in Tanki that lasted for more than 20h, and even if it was completely crazy for me, players enjoyed it themselves. So go figure.

Sorry, but this is not true.  Mods do NOT get paid for banning players. Instead they are assessed in how many hours they spend in the chats, keeping an eye around, interacting with players and the overall time they work. Without revealing too much information about the technical stuff, we can simply say that they are not, in any case, paid for banning players ; the actual amount of bans they hand out is irrelevant in calculating how effective they have been.

Why the videos you mentioned have been hidden?  Simple, they do not reflect the true nature of the game and its management in so many ways.  There's tons of unsaid things in it, there's tons of mere speculations, but we don't deny there were certain elements of truth either, but only very few.

 

We don't protest against the video, in fact we respect it and its author, but the game forum and chats are no place to discuss speculative contents and definitely not in a one-sided fashion as has been the case up till now.

We do not know the individual saying that to you but no, this is not true at all.  See the top comment.  

However if your friend is an old mod from back in the older days, then he is referring to how the old system used to work.  Back then it was a mess, a plague and even I was a victim of that system getting banned unfairly for months with my friends.  But since then (long ago) tanki has adopted a different system so that we don't get mods easily abusing the system for more crystals

Omg, from which planet you just landed in this topic?? Yes, moderators are paid in crystals, no one disputed that, they are simply not paid for bans! Mods are not here to punish people and get a reward for that, we're here to help the players and make Tanki more enjoyable place for everyone.

since brazilian servers are very far away from us, they have a different version. if they play with us ,the ping will be simply too high. althought u can play on a brazilian server if u want to- http://tankionline.com.br/battle.html
