Myths and rumours answered

The truly dark ages of tanki  :unsure:   All accounts were reset.  All players lost all their garage items.  They were refunded all the crystals equivalent, but all the prices of everything was was increased , taller than empire state building, and people like me who had M3 stuff could only purchase 1 or 2 M2 things and no paints to wear :(

I wouldn't call it that. For me, it was pretty good - I got rid of garage items I didn't want anymore, and bought exactly what I wanted, all m3's and all the paints I wanted. It wasn't that expensive at all! And no, I wasn't a mod back then.

The daily missions are the worst. I'd like to have daily rewards back, pls. Every single time, I get 5× drugs, or 100× crystals. Come on! I won't even get through 30 minutes with those drugs.

Why doesn't tanki invest in marketing? There are tons of advertisements of other similar MMOs out there, but I've never seen a tanki banner anywhere.

You know that they were acheiving 100k players at the same time, even 130k, in SUMMER time. Everybody had time to play tanki, so a lot of people were on in that time. I can't deny that the game isn't in a good "mood" now, but still, take in calculation how busy people are now aswell.

When are the players that need to buy crystals in the EN system going to get the reduction in price we were promised back in May?  OR was Tanki hoping we would all just forget about the fact we are still paying 50% more for the same number of crystals? They did make a reduction and then turned around and said that it was going to ruin the economy. They said they were going to return it back to it's previous state, however they actually increased the cost to buy crystals.  Nice slight of hand there. The double standards in this game amaze me.

BTW  I'm well aware of the fact that I'm just wasting my time asking but it had to brought up.

Yeah, the CM of the building company and its helpers answered countless times that if they can't transfer the old outdated relics of the islanders and make it work with the new bridge, they will ensure these islanders are more than duly compensated with lots of goodies and stuff, but hey, no matter, what some islanders, like I said in my previous novel critiques, just wanna see red no matter what's said and done.  And its always these same few little islanders who will go and spread the fuel and light it up and make a huge mega fuss about it all.  Frankly speaking, don't take this next line as an official statement, but had it been me in charge these few little islanders would be left to swim or hitch a ride on a whale and some dolphins to get across.  But oh well, I guess its a good thing though that its not me but much much nicer people who are in charge.  Now lets equally be nice to them and give them the time they need to complete their work :)

az - Part 1

ds - Part 1

az - Part 2

ds - Part 2

AZ Part 3

And it was this refusal to act and admit any mistakes whatsoever that led to fewer and fewer vehicles on the bridge. Last Halloween peak traffic was 120k per day with a healthy volume throughout the day. Now they're lucky to see just over half that peak and and half that volume so where is it all going wrong?

Continuing to blame the bridge users for not cooperating is quite frankly absurd. They told the company about the negatives but it was never enough.  But the company's staff wore rose-tinted specs and could see no wrong. By not taking any ownership for the demise and continuously trying to find scapegoats only led to further resentment and further disrespect from the communities.  Business could have been booming if they only listened to the sane voices among them but now they have to settle for the odd day-tripper and mediocre numbers.

The future isn't entirely bleak for the new build. There will still be a following so worry ye not, but if they're anything like me, enthusiasm will be draining and appetites waning.

++

The only times they reduced cost of the crystals were the 25% Sale and the 20% PayPal sale. I guess they DID forget about us. (Probably all the way until who knows when)
