This indicates a singular level of ignorance. English is the 2nd most spoken language and the most widespread. Not only is it spoken in more than "2-3 countries" it is also the most common second language. Therefore it is by far the most useful  language for a mod to be fluent in.

they make mistakes and dont want to hear that english is popular blah blah blah. which country are u from?

being from a country that does not speak english on a conversational level, i make a lot of grammar mistakes

even the people who speak english as their native language dont speak perfect english

All im saying if we were to go by this that we appoint mods "perfect" in english well then good luck working is 2-3 mods :mellow:

It took me about 3 hours to read this far on this topic (and I do note we have a great many good people making contributions.  (Surprised not to see Brubook and RustyNail here.)

 

And I do think it worth pointing out that even with the game as it is, many of us get good 'crossings of the bridge'.  All we're trying to do is fix some of the 'bad crossings' that waste our time.  And most of us really do want the 'bridge company' to do well - the alternative 'ferry' is not so perfect either.

It's great that this topic actually gets some responses from TO - it's the most 'hope' I've seen in a while.

 

Short summary (because my output gets a bit long.)

 

Second only to 'Kick2' - why does Tanki management simply ignore this massive thread?:  Please answer.

Some of the brightest and best brains (and biggest Tanki supporters) have been hard at work in that thread trying to help resolve the problem of why Tanki allows one side to use more garage supplies than the other - which imbalances team games (and DM) (and also ruins the stats).  (Any fool can get a bigger score using permanent DD or DA.)

 

Star Series does not allow use of garage supplies because of the imbalance they can cause (see how most of the HardStyle battles quickly became one-sided.)

 

(HOWEVER, WE'RE NOT ASKING FOR SUPPLIES TO BE REMOVED FROM THE GAME - that's never going to happen.)

 

Imagine we could setup games where only 1 of each supply was used per tank per 15 minutes.

Then imagine we can choose x amount of each supply that can be used per tank per 15mins - then WE get to choose what we like best and NOT Tanki.

 

(Air drops are fine as they are).

(And don't say use Pro Mode because we have that pass and cannot use it because too few games have been setup.)

 

 

More detailed part:

Simply give us the right to choose the 'supplies balance' - then all this shouting of 'drugger' can go away and we all get a more level playing field.

Please note 'buyers' will still buy supplies and MU upgrades etc. (and I suspect even non buyers like me will feel they can now buy!)

Tanki will find many more users are happy with the game and they will see user numbers going up.

The end result is that more 'bums on seats' means more money to Tanki which is good for us all!

 

The biggest Mythical question to me is why Tanki Management is unwilling to admit they have allowed this huge imbalance in the game (caused by no control preventing one side using more garage supplies than the other.)

 

Semyon must have seen this for himself and yet everyone in Tanki authority seem to have been 'silenced' and we have been told it's 'futile' complaining about it.

 

If Tanki let me hold a poll on this - I'm sure over 80% of tankers would agree with me!

 

(As a quick 'partial fix': it's a simple addition to the game - just showing how many supplies each tank used on the score board - this would help a lot in identifying the best players and easy to program).

 

All we're trying to do is make this more of an eSport - similar to playing cricket or football or any other well established game.  All we can do right now when a battle becomes imbalanced by the over use of supplies by one side is to quit 'that' game - which is a waste of time and some crystals.

 

Imagine. if the 'away' football crowd saw that the 'home' team had legally given themselves 2 more players than the 'away' side - they would probably tear down the stadium in disgust and the newspapers would make such a 'scene' all of football would have been brought into 'disrepute' for ruining the balance of the game.

 

Tanki has a perfect right to decide the rules as they think fit - just in the spirit of 'glasnost' (and showing that you care) - if TO management really believe that sales of Supplies Kits is really critical to the survival of the game - then why not say so publicly?  Then we can focus on how we can help Tanki find alternatively ways to gain this money.  When we fix that (and we have suggested many ways (and been ignored)) - then we can have our 'level playing field' please :0)

 

Please note it's to Tanki's credit that we have not been 'silenced'.  I feel a nameless senior TO person still thinks this game 'imbalance' as described above is a 'necessary evil' - who is this person or persons and why can't we talk directly?

Those people forgot how I answered them that their ideas to cut supply usage is a no go. Too bad I can't speak in that section of the forum anymore. On the second thought though... it's good that I can't. Saying same things again and again is really boring thing.

Ideally every position be it moderating and non-moderating.  However in quite a few instances we do find a great deal of high maturity required in many under 18 people as well

First off my respect to all the contributors of that thread, its a lot of hard work and dedication put into that.  Same goes for the kick2 thread as well.  However just as with kick2, despite all the hard work, it all is still only scratching the surface of a bigger iceberg.  Just because these solution work on the surface it doesn't mean that they will work with the actual game.  And often there's many more aspect of the game that players tend to overlook, from technical difficulties to mere game survival.  Sadly it never is as easy a fix as portrayed by these solutions

As for the second issue, you've already given the solution to it yourself.  More eSports.  And yes before anyone starts lashing on me, I know, there isn't enough of this in Tanki right now and trust me guys I'm the one suffering the most from that :(  

 

That said, there's a tournament coming up very shortly which will help alleviate the broader demand of tankmen from various eSporting styles, where you'll get to choose among 3 different styles, a classic xp/bp format, an open CTF format without drugs and an open CP format with all drugs ON for those who want that.  I'd say give it a shot and let us know how you like it :)

You've actually been talking to one of these persons, he even responded in this thread a few posts ago and he's been discussing about it all very openly in this forum, in vlogs, in the russian forum (google/bing translate is more than enough if you want to follow him there)  I'll say just see the other side of the story as well.  There are very valid points in them too.

That happens when you have JUST joined the battle...

Think it like this :

You click 'play', and the sever picks you up from lobby and drops you in battle.....and while you are being dropped, the server doesn't clearly know your chosen team, so it thinks that you're in the other team and sends a wrong notification...

However, this does not affect anything...it's just the text (at the top, and at top right) that changes...nothing else.....if you see anything such, just ignore...it hardly matters..^_^

All staff members, new or old, have their individuality. They do dislike some updates in one way or other but you can't expect them to open huge topics and blab about them and say that devs are bad...etc. They have a responsibility, a duty to be done. In the end, they are as affected by an update as any of us.

Hi :)  I understand you're new to the game and only seen the past 4 or 5 vlogs that mentioned premium and unity extensively.  I suggest you watch a good couple more of the previous episodes and catch up on all the various updates that aren't related to either premium or unity :)
