Hi @WeeFudge :)  its not a myth.  Players can only be in 1 clan and not more.  Try think about it yourself what would happen if players were allowed to be in multiple clans?  And now this guy you mentioned above has been trying to lead 2 separate clans   We offered him to keep 1 of the clan topics and he's free to ask the members of the closed one to join the active one.  Its as simple as that!

Right.  Thank you for the answer.  However, if people ask about this, shouldn't there be something in the clan rules or eSports rules that states this?  I can see that this would be difficult to enforce as simply using an alt would throw off most people.  As I've gotten more into the forum and coordinating clan wars, I see more and more players in multiple clans (hence why I thought it was probably a rumor or myth).  From my point of view, if a player can handle the responsibilities of being in more than one clan and the clan members and leader are okay with it, what's the harm?  I can see there being an issue if you're worried about a skilled player being a 'mercenary' for clan wars, but shouldn't' that be the responsibility of whoever is coordinating the clan war to limit the inclusion of 'allies' and/or 'mercenaries?'

 

On an unrelated topic, I posted this question but didn't get much of a response there.  Is it a myth that there's a way you can 'follow' a forum member?  I've read posts by several mods, clan leaders, and forum members that make me want to read whatever they write.  Unfortunately, it seems like you have to look up each individually, 'find content,' and read whatever new stuff they've written…as opposed to getting a notification whenever they post something new.  I can see that this may seem a little stalker-ish but given you can already 'find content' to follow people, couldn't they just make it easier on our part to follow thought-provoking or interesting people?

Paragraph 1 ~ you basically answered that one yourself.  Mercenaries, spies, saboteurs, seen all sorts of names for these people and they cause so much trouble.  Besides why be in 2 clan?  Choose one and make it better, don't wait on the leader to do everything in the clan, everyone has to contribute :)

I know why it is done. It is done so you have to think twice about wasting your time in one of those format battles so you have to spend money on a paint or use the more expensive hull.

I think I have read a better though stupid answer already, hornet m2 + 10% != hornet m3 hp while it is applicable for wasp m3, therefore..

Hi.  This is not a bug nor a glitch or failure from devs.

 

Its pretty much as it has always been intended.  Here's why : (All % below refers to extra Railgun protection)

 

Wasp M2 + 10% = Wasp M3

Hornet M2 + 20% = Hornet M3
 

Hornet M2 + 10% ≠ Hornet M3  (or anything else in the game!)

 

and actually Hornet M2 + 10% is inferior in performance to Wasp M2 + 10%

 

You might argue that with 10% Hornet M2's protection becomes on par with Wasp M3.  On paper it does even exceed that amount by 2.8 points.  However, in XP/BP format hull protection is not the only  determining factor.  Once you consider the manoeuvrability of Wasp M2 over that of Hornet M2 you'll quickly understand how the latter just becomes the tortoise  of a format where it really has no chance against the other 4 variants when they are in skilful hands.

 

The same goes for XP matches, its barely ok to have Hornet M2 + 20% while Hornet M2 + 10% just is not sufficient enough.  It easy prey and bogs down the team which has such a player.

 

And you don't even have to take our words for it, gather some friends with these M2 setups, try them all out and see for yourself.

 

Not included in this explanation are characteristics of Railgun M2 and Railgun M3.  I'm pretty sure if you understood the above you'll also understand that you'll need to consider all the characteristics of the turret in both M2 and M3 variants and their impact on the poor miserable Hornet M2 + 10%

If you feel any mods just close a topic without a satisfactory answer please report it using the report button or by sending me a pm.  And no, they are not ignoring players, where have you been when they changed quite a few of their updates after player feedback?  :huh: Last in line was this one I believe.  They're even starting to become notorious for making it a habit of making changes based on feedback of players

I just need to say, tanki was good in 2012-2013. Those were golden days for me :D

But let's just take a second to appreciate the game it is now. You don't need to buy it first of all, secondly, you don't need to download it like world of tanks, which takes forever. And i mean, there might be lag but there is always stand alone flash. Look at the game, the devs work hard. We can have clans, and so much. So just think about it. This is a great game :)

1. Name a couple who do their jobs "well".

They only care about getting paid.

Don't group everyone in with the majority, if they do their job they should do it properly. People complaining about mods moderating for crystals was a rare sight in 2013 and earlier, because they did their job PROPERLY, not at the expense of normal players. Take Crash for example, he does his job properly, no one complains and says he does it for crystals.

 

Falcosenna (though he ain't one anymore), Issho, Damn_Slow, DonCarnage and crash.

 

2. I never said he should do any of those things so don't assume I want him to work like a forum moderator.

A community manager, as the name suggests should "manage" the community, he doesn't even take part in the community and he answers what, 2, 3 questions on every topic he posts then stops, that's not "managing" or taking part. He just controls the admins from behind the scenes, who control the moderators who attempt to control the community. He himself knows nothing about the community, the way it feels or what it wants. Find one place where he actually immerses himself into the community, other than answering questions.

 

Ok, that's a load of rubbish. The mods are hired and fired by the admin, but they aren't controlled by them.players are in no way controlled by mods (I wouldn't call deleting relevant post controlling, but it is kinda oppressive (for lack of a better word to use.)) 

 

Pl0x you wouldn't have had to write half of that had you spent the time to read what I said properly.

you have to realise 99% of these topics are unrealistic or infeasible ideas.  There's a few good ones, but since most of our resources are being pooled into building the new game with far less issues than the current one, these ideas are being kept on hold.

Wasp m2 and m3 are simply so much better than their hornet counterparts....they gotta have some weaknesses. Also, its quite hard to shoot a close distance wasp, especially with a nitro. This makes it fair, a remote chance of one shoting a wasp. That always take place when it really matters.

 

So yeah guys, you have to take into account wasp's absolute superiority at m2 and m3 (and arguably m4)

I find the whole system funny nowadays.

And you know what?

My friend made joke of the guys who gym, and he got a day ban for flooding.

I will give you his nick if you actually keep proof (otherwise its of no use reporting his ban, as you ill have nothing against or for him) then I will love to see the screen of him flooding.
