Well, I'm bit curious about the upcoming changes in the game.

I always keep some doubt about the lagging.

If my FPS is 60 and ping is hoovering beneath 15, than I shouldn 't be lagging as far as I know.

 

Still Rail and Vulcan will shoot through at least corners of obstacles.

Maybe the ping rocks upwards for a short moment when the server is doing the calculations 

when the shot(s) gets fired?

 

It 's probably indeed lag, but I don 't get it. Or is it just my own perception?

I think the case here is that not you, but your opponent is lagging a bit.

I feel that lag is too often used used to explain certain anomaly.  Sure of course it must affect some things. This business of rail gun penetrating corners and now Vulcan. Rail gun has been penetrating corners for years, even when lag is not apparent.  I wonder if this capability might have been built into its programming for some circumstances or it is a bug.  Rail gun often flatters its user.  One does not need to point accurately, not just up and down but I mean laterally.  Basically aim anywhere and so long as the object is inside a certain sized cone that target will be hit.  I have read one technical description as suggesting this cone measures 8 degrees from its central axis. Over the distance of a large map this can allow for a discrepancy of inaccuracy of some large distance from its intended target.  This can sometimes be demonstrated when a Rail-gun coming out of cover fires at a supposed target.  The target has not appeared for one reason or another, the shot goes way wide of where the target was expected to go.  At other times when the target is there, it is very rare for it to miss.  Yet a manual aim, with the gun ready deflected at an angle, before the rail-gun sprints from out of cover to fire at a distant object does not sound feasible.  Their is just too much that can add up to missing the shot.  It requires too much guess work, yet time and time again the shot is successful.  So I wonder, is this through the corner shooting ability all part of rails built in parameter!  All just to keep up the moral of the user.  The same applies to Vulcan.  No one has ever complained of any other weapons firing through corners as far as I am aware over the years.  It was always rail and now Vulcan.  Rail was the darling the most popular weapon and Vulcan is becoming increasingly popular.  Vulcan is also extremely powerful and very dominant in the field.

1They need server updates to keep things running, general maintenance and to launch changes.

2 Suggest you obtain a PRO Pass and set games to exclude supplies etc.

3 Hackers are every where, They ae a real pain.

5 racist, sexist, I have been called sexist misogynistic names and inappropriate sexual comments on many occasions.

7 They can not accept all ideas and many are just impossible to adopt.  They also have to be playable and enjoyable.

8 I do not believe that they want anyone to feel that they need to go.  their are not enough buyers.  Buyers are essential to support the staff and  pay for buildings rent, legal costs, tax, etc.

9 Moderators are clearly marked so ignore or report by using the appropriate mechanisms.

1. Without server updates the game would stop functioning, wouldn't want that would you?

Esp funny is the complaint in point 2 - dude, you want to have fun without paying for it ???

 

Hope you understand, that this is like to sneak into the cinema to watch a movie with no ticket !

 

I find it highly childish and egoistic, to want someone else to pay for the servers, the R&D, the stuff, the taxes, etc, etc, and on the other hand a noob (like the author) to be able to play comfortably for free )))

The cheaters could not make it without help. I saw a clan leader in chat the other day say they put mults in every game they play. They don't even try to hide it. I played a game today where I am sitting there being shot with two teammates just sitting there. Mults. That infuriates me. The cheaters have help. The mods don't care and neither does tanki

If you want a mult to get banned, simply record a 5-10 min video of them multing then upload it to youtube. After that, post the video link in Game Violations secion in Forum

@Golfinray You can gather proofs of all that, then record footage of it all in battle situations, submit everything in the Game Violations section and one of the concerned gameplay moderators will have a good look into it.

Make sure you read the rules of the section before taking that endeavor.

I just logged on to Tanki's homepage and couldn't help but notice that for an entire month Tanki has had no changes whatsoever. A month! No new contests, updates, announcements, nothing!!! What's happened?? I mean, I know the birthday celebrations are coming up and I'm very hyped, but really TO? I'm very disappointed.
