Hi can someone please explain how the 10%,20% and 30% discounts work or provide me with a link because i cant find it anywhere

If you're talking about the Whole sale garage discounts, you'll find more information in this topic . To summarise it,

Having 3 M1 turrets will give you a 10% discount on other M1 turrets (and same for M2/M3). Having 6 will give a 20% discount and having 9 will give a 30% discount.

The same applies to hulls except discounts are given on buying 2/4/6 Hulls.

They usually don't announce their presence with trumpets and drumroll and confetti, so it's understandable if you don't see them. Chat mods, in particular, are extremely active (It's one of their job requirements, so if they don't remain active, they'll lose their moderator status). Think of it like the police force in your town. I'm sure you don't see them everyday but that doesn't mean that they're not doing anything.

Chat moderators are people who are solely looking for any chat-related actions that break the rules. The Game Violators section however, is secretly watching people in battle (they are given Spectator mode) and their job, is to ban mults and sabotages.

To explain what I am saying:

This is how they spot you.

Who is Godmode_ON and why does he have the devil paint or ehatever is it?

"Godmode_ON is a mysterious Tanki player, who occasionally joins battles, and mostly tries to make the other players team up in order to kill him. He uses different ranks each time: Generalissimo, Marshal, or Lieutenant Colonel."

He has this paint to make him look mysterious. One of the theories is that it provides 100% protection against Firebird and Freeze, and 98% against the rest of the turrets.

Many players believe he's a hacker — but he's most likely, a developer.

More information can be found here: http://tankionline.wikia.com/wiki/Godmode_ON.

If the game moderators are secretly watching try to catch cheaters and mults they are not doing a good job, huh?

There are 28 EN battle moderators in total, and hundreds of battles at the same time, so you want them to be like everywhere? nope, they are not robots who the developers made — I, personally, think that they are doing a great job.

Actually, only a few of those battle moderators are part of the English community.

If you take into account the incredible amount of battles being played every day, throughout the day, you will realise that it's impossible for the handful of battle mods Tanki has to check each and every one of them.

Also, if you take into account the time they spend on assessing violations submitted in forum, it's nearly impossible for a mod to be available for any particular battle. Increasing quantity by compromising quality is not a solution. So, what is?

Not spinning. It still is in the plans believe it or not.  Its just such a low priority task at the moment and people working on more important stuff.  its called prioritizing.

Tanki x is a pipe dream. There is no way it ever happens.

Sure, keep thinking that.

Did anyone notice the new kits?  Are some of the old kits going away?

Kits get periodically refreshed.  You'll find many more here : http://en.tankiwiki.com/Product_kits

There are plans for some EN clan tournaments, right? If so, will newcomers clans be allowed to participate? What kind of prizes can we anticipate?

ToF for now.  More later.  All info will be posted in due time.

It's not 100% from firebird/freeze, it's 100% from their after effect

i believe that its 88% not 98%, bcz one guy proved it on forum

Here's a myth: Teammates that can drive. .-.

And teams who consist entirely of people who actually want to win, not just get points, and candrive, and shoot, and have at least some common sense.

The only time I have ever seen or heard of things like that are in battles of only close friends at high ranks, and clan battles -_-

I am currently having an email conversation with someone at the end of help@tankionline.com, and I have never had a more bizarre or worse experience dealing with someone who is supposed to work in a support capacity. Not only have they been disrespectful, and not answered a single query I've had, but they have blatantly lied in their communications as well. I have a feeling that whoever deals with help@tankionline.com is a moderator who used to be a player, rather than an actual employee of Tankionline.

What I want to know is, has anyone else had a similar experience, and who would you complain to about this?

Despite the End User License Agreement saying categorically that Tanki does not record, or store chat logs, I have had someone from help@tankionline.com say that they do. Did anyone else know this?

The topic was originally started by bonjourcomputer, but was closed by moderator censor. The moderator censor refused to re-open the original topic at my request. Thus, I am forced to create a new one.

Before you read my post, please read the original topic (only 2 posts there, so not much):

http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=326550

---

I was told by TO admin recently that TO keeps the logs, however I did not notice it is against the EULA.

Please read the whole rules if you want to complain about them.

Yes, I read them. And it seems you completely do not understand them.

So, let's analyse the 3rd point. First 2 lines refer to chat. AFAIK, There is no other chat than the in-game chat. Thus, the rules say TO is not allowed to record in-game chat logs it is stated very clear. So please, moderator censor shall not lie about it!

The next 2 lines (the highlited ones) refer to "posting material on the Internet Site". Writing in the in-game chat is not posting any materials to the "Internet Site". It also mentions a storage capacity for each user, which means that each user may or may not be allowed to upload some materials to the TO "Internet Site". It is clear that the highlighted lines refer to an option for users and definetely not to recording chat logs.

Hi,

This part is not a secret.  Its quite normal.  As a company we have to keep logs of just about everything over a set period of time.  Just in case.  Things go wrong all the time.  Technical things.  So in order to better understand where and when problems arise and how to better solve them, we need logs of just about everything.  At least for the most recent stuff when everything was still working fine.  And yes, those even include chat logs to a certain extent.

However for all intents and purposes those are off limits for any normal users, not even moderators can get access to those.  What you read in the EULA is more of a disclaimer about how tankionline is not obligated to store any of those messages on the tankionline website and game servers and are under no obligation whatsoever to produce records of chat messages to anyone.

Title : Who moderates the moderators?

I am currently having an email conversation with someone at the end of help@tankionline.com, and I have never had a more bizarre or worse experience dealing with someone who is supposed to work in a support capacity. Not only have they been disrespectful, and not answered a single query I've had, but they have blatantly lied in their communications as well. What I want to know is, has anyone else had a similar experience, and who would you complain to about this?

Who moderates the mods?  The administrators do.  I am myself responsible for forum moderation team and a few other teams.  My colleagues and are responsible for chat moderation.  You'll find the complete and updated list here : Lists of Helpers

If you'd now ask who moderates these administrators, well community managers do.  And who moderates them?  Well there's a lead community manager, and he is in turn moderated by others above him.  Typical pyramid.

As for helpdesk, no, these are not moderators working there, but dedicated staff of the company who are there to help you out where moderators can't.  i.e. technical stuff, e.g. account loss etc ... Now about your experience with them being not so satisfactory, well first off please accept our apologies on it.  I'm pretty sure we can resolve that.  Just send me a pm with whatever concerns you about them, or what was it they were unable to help you with and I'll do my best to help you where I can.  Alternatively, you can also send an email to help@tankionline.com but this time address it to the community manager (cedric) and you can be sure he'll see it.

We're sincerely sorry about that.  We've removed those posts from the concerned moderator as they do not properly clarify the situation and the position of the company on that section of the EULA.  Please refer to my posts above for an official statement about it.
