[Issue 2] Reporting a chat offender in battle.

Recommended Posts

Tanki Writing Group [TWG] presents....

In order to report a chat offender during battle keep following these steps.

Player X means unknown player.

- Think that your in battle. then suddenly from opponent (maybe your team too) a player Named X started offending. he keeping braking the rules.. Then If you want to report the player write /Vote Offender's nickname (Player X) code in chat and then type Offender's Name.

After reporting what happens next?

- If no moderators came, to make something happen, Upto 25% of players in the battle need to Report the offender via /Vote Offender's nickname code. If this happens, The nickname of offender turns black for the  for the moderators and the battle in which it is located will be highlighted in the list of battles creating an excellent signal to alert the moderator. At this stage leave it all to the chat moderators. they have already received all special instructions.

Some Important points need to be remembered.

1> A moderator sees the battle and the events in it only from the moment when he or she enters the battle. They do not have logs of the chat or other events occuring proir to them entering the battle, so it is important to report the offender promptly.

2> Remember, the complaint highlights the player’s nickname, only if a sufficient number of people complained. Do not think that one or two complaints will be enough.

3> All that you need to do is enter the chat command /vote name_of_offender and press Enter. After then, wait.

4> Be aware that a moderator may sometimes not come into battle with complaints. Since this is not an automatic system, there might be any moderators on the server at the moment.

5> Remember that your complaint is valid as long as the offender is in the battle, and while all those who complained are in the battle. If someone leaves – the complaint is reset.

6> Complaining to the moderators in the battle chat is impossible Use the code to report.. This can be done only on the forum.  Take screenshot proof and report it Chat Violations in forum .

7> Do not send complaints about players who do not violate any rules. All complaints are logged, and carefully checked by the moderators.

8> The username of the offender can be copied from the battle log at the top right corner of the interface. In order to do that, you need to left-click on the name of offender while holding the CTRL key.

Pros

  1. Can be baned offending players in battle.
  2. After coming mods will look the battle for some more times.
  3. Very easy to report a big offender in battles

Cons

  1. 25% of reports needed to take this action (during battle)
  2. Sometimes moderators may  not come into battle with complaints. The server you are playing in there must be a chat moderator online. to take action otherwise if there are no moderators in that server moderators will not come.
  3. 1 or 2 report is not enough. (during battle)

IMPORTANT: Dont post false reports may ban the players who have reported the moderator.

After reporting if the offender gets out from the battle himself, the report will be canceled.

ATTENTION: Hackers cant be banned and blocked by this way.. you have to do this steps.

  1. Take a video which will prove the player X is hacking.
  2. Upload the video in youtube.
  3. then report the hackers name with the video, post a topic here Game Violations after reading Game violators will bann and block the hacker

Real topic about it can be found here Tanki online wiki reporting an offender in battle

That Wiki topic has been published here.

your not a mod ok

I know, but he is not part of TWG, but he is posting under our name, sort of. Using Issue 2 is identifying with something he is not.

I'm not trying to be a hater, but more than half of this article was directly plagiarized from here and here. Also, a majority of this article was indirectly plagiarized from these sources by simply changing a few words. The parts of the article that were not plagiarized invariable contained very incorrect grammar and other basic English mistakes.

And pretending to be a member of the TWG is not going to help your case with becoming an actual member. I'd suggest contacting a Forum Moderator to get the title of this topic changed, as you being affiliated with the group actually may hurt their reputation as well as yours.

It appears that starting "guides" such as these is becoming increasingly en vogue, and these guides may be helpful at times. But, there is a point where one can go too far. There is a line between wanting to write/help and wanting to impress others. If you stick to the former of these two sides, I believe you will find that the latter will follow. It is a nice gesture to try to help other tankers. If you do want to make a guide or an article, do so on an original and creative topic. Put as much effort as you can into creating a guide. If you do not possess fluent English skills, others will look badly upon you and it may also confuse the very tankers you are seeking to help. And, above all, do not create a redundant article. If there is a page in the wiki, help site, or newspaper that contains all the information needed to instruct a player on the given topic, there is no need to create an extra item on the forum. The best advice I can give to you prospective writers is to think before you post. Do keep in mind that this is just my personal opinion.

Nice Article. It will help a lot of the players understand the /vote command and how it works :)

I personally think the system needs to be improved a bit, especially since it is enough work to take a video, let alone upload it, post it and wait for a reply
