[Declined] "Gun Working" indicator light for Vulcan

If you're not looking at what you shoot, then I have no idea how you play...  :blink:

Okay, take for instance a game on Skyscraper...

If I fire at a person lower than me, my only indicator is the shot not going straight forward.

 

Please note when giving suppressive fire I am in the "sniper's view" where you see only a wide area in front of you.

Said mode can be achieved by pressing E.

 

Anyways, I can't see where I'm firing downwards in that view.

I CAN, however, see upwards well.

 

Switch to the top-down perspective and you can see downwards but not upwards or around you.

 

This is more of a nitpick than a complaint, but I don't like firing blindly and not knowing where I'm hitting.

That's why you don't stay in one view the whole time. In a normal game your view must always be changing and to be able to play well you need to use your E and Q keys as much as you use WASD, Z, X etc.

OK, get what you mean. I only came across the glitch you are talking about very recently, so hopefully developers know about it now and it will be fixed in the near future. But as I said - they won't add something that works with the glitch. They will try to remove the actual glitch instead.

I started playing June 2014, and encountered this glitch several times in the first month.  I reported it then, and was acknowledged.  At this point I am thinking they are not going to spend the effort to eliminate it, but strangely it is happening to me much less frequently now.

Amm i have to jump from map when i come in game ALWAYS,  because i cant pick up boxes, i cant deal damage or anything like that! 

I found a way to get rid of your problem. Either self-destruct, or try clicking any of the buttons like the Garage, missions, friends, settings.

"ghost bullet" glitch happens to all turrets, but there's no way it affects Vulcan the most.

 

Do you know how annoying it is to Shaft users? When they're about to make a game-winning shot, or hit that railgun just as they're about to fire, and then their shots just disappear? It is most frustrating with Shaft because the shots count the most, (takes long to reload and supposed to do high damage)

All of Operator's nonsense about not being able to use vulcan aside, when is this bug gonna be fixed? Its been over a year now...

 

Atleast for vulcan, if you stop firing and restart, it does damage, but thats pretty darn disruptive.
