Water reflection is already planed for new Tanki Unity

The new Tanki will feature an array of complex materials such as metal, glass, reflecting surfaces, wood, bark and water, none of which exist within the current environments due to technical limitations.

In this world almost everything have a smart version :)

My idea is to add maps that contain water and liquid methane like on Eupopa or Tian (moons of Saturn and Juipiter).

There is water in Unity, though its in a SD zone. Maybe in future we could drive though it? Best bet would be Unity, Flash wouldn't be able to handle water without lag.

I hate to burst your bubble, but realistically...

A tank's engine would cease to function underwater.

And the crew would drown slowly.

The water doesn't need to be that deep.  Real tanks can drive through rivers so long as they are not deeper than the tank.  I would expect a tanki tank driving through water would slow down (not unlike when being freezed) then return to normal speed when on dry land.

True, but look at the image there.

This could become Submarines Online.  :P 

 

Anyways, this argument won't have depth (Har har har, submarine joke) because the developers are so devoted to realism a single minigun can destroy a tank entirely.
