Tanki's Mythological Names

It seems that a lot of TO's names come from Greek or Roman mythology.  A list of Greek and Roman names that are represented are below.

 

 

 

                     Greek

 

1.  Zeus, king of the gods- the almighty paint

2.  Atlas, titan lord- kit

3.  Cyclopes, monster with one eye-kit

4.  Centaur, half horse, half human-kit

5.  Minotaur, half bull, half man, son of king Minos-kit

6.  Boreas, north wind-kit

7.  Prometheus, titan lord who brought humanity fire-kit

 

(8.) Titan, third race, birthed the gods- hull

 

               Roman

 

1.  Mars, god of war-paint

2.  Vulcan, god of fire-turret

3.  Cupid, god of love-kit

 

Did I miss anything?  Do you find the connections interesting?  Have anything to add?

I think there isn't really any "theme" going on. They just picked names that sound cool.

Well,these mythological names perfectly match with what these paints look like/hulls/turrets are

Why not use more ancient names, especially ones that pertain to European history? Or even have kits named after famous tank commanders' nicknames, like Rommel (Desert Fox.)
