Hmm... Without a degree you'll need an employer to realize your talent which you could do by showing some of those locally examples of art work. The best way is with a degree, though.

Time your shots just right and always go for the nearest cover if someones aiming at you, unless you have to defend a flag

In my opinion not really, sometimes useful information is given in chat, although most of the time it is just spam so you can ignore it if you really want.
