wasp-railgun glitch?

This is my first topic so go easy on me.I was playing a 60 mins island battle and i was using wasp so it would have been easy to be killed by a railgun but when i got shot by the side i still had a quarter of my life but when i was shot from the rear or front (i had full health) i would die in 1 shot and this happened a lot in the battle. So is this a glitch? Thanks for the feedback!

Railgun damage points are random, but within a range. It was just pure luck that you got 1 hit from the front and survived a shot from the side

The damage varies a bit for most guns and it's particularly noticeable with Railgun, since the large amount of damage per shot also means that it has a large fluctuation in the damage value.
