there is an official forum for tanki x now.

Which I cant use because i need an account, but i can get an account cause the game isnt letting me in. due to errors.

For those who watched the new TankiX video on hulls, you might have noticed an interesting phenomenon. Going through the different hull classes, Titan was named a medium hull, and Dictator was named a Heavy hull. However, the current hulls are not even close in comparison. Stock M3 Titan has more protection than an M4 Dictator. So the question now is, will hull statistics be changed? If Titan and Dictator change, what else will?

I was really disappointed when I heard of this change. Because Titan has been my favorite hull since I started. I got used to the stats and how and where this hull would be effective. But I'm still going to use Titan as a primary regardless of the change to TX. The game looks fantastic and I'm still excited for it. Just won't be buying a Dict or Mammoth so... Titan will be and always be the strongest for me.

What is with the Unexpected error has occured? I just want to use Tanki X!

I pressed "Play" on the laucher, then the game client opens at first with a "No connection to server". So i click "Restart". Then it shows up with "An unexpected error has occured". Please help. And what should the "default locale" be set to? 'Cause right now it is just "". Or does it matter?

I entered n it worked :P

They gave a nickname but I dont know the password :/

 

 

I got the same, that means its been taken by someone else.

Hopefully our accounts will either be reset and we recieve all the crys or accounts get reset so I can spend my crystals wisely and not waste them on useless weapons i dont use

It makes sense, it looks and feels like a medium hull.

I think it's because a lot of us here have gotten used to and appreciate the current stats of Dictator and Titan- those who like Titan as a heavy hull may not like it becoming a medium hull, and the same goes with Dictator. I love how Dictator is currently- maneuverable, tough, but not too slow with an excellent appearance, and I'm not a big fan of heavy hulls. In TX, since it's now the new "lighter" heavy hull, I would have either use it as a heavy hull or buy Titan as a replacement.

 

In addition, from the information on the fan TX wiki, Titan will serve the same role as Dictator in terms of health but will apparently have worse turning speed, while Dictator will have better turning speed compared to Titan. If this is indeed the case in the final game, Titan will be a watered-down Dictator and Dictator will be a superior Titan, which doesn't seem to be right for game balance. We'll see how it works out in practice when the open beta starts.

 

At least they didn't touch the stats of Hunter. :)

I agree. Though if they want to do all these changed on "appearance" why not do another logical swap.

 

Hunter and Viking. Hunter is a much taller hull with almost the same length and width.  In reality Hunter would weigh more than Viking, Viking is... Just a set of tracks. :LOL:

I can get that, but I just think it makes more sense.

Titan looks like a BT-7 or T-34, and Dictator looks like a Medium tank M2 with a more wedge-shaped design.

Why not make them both mediums and introduce the Elephant hull that has the same stats as Titan?

They are releasing 20 codes on every 2 days an hour ago from this time. 2:06 am for me. My laptop is taken by my mom. And you guys release codes at this late I can't stand a chance. Plus how long CBT will be there? Can we just start Open testing? Dont close this topic first give a valid reason.

Currently it in its CBT, over 1000 codes have been released.

 

I'd say in about 1 month the CBT will finish, and the open testing will start. I've talked to some in the CBT and they said its nothing to get too excited about. Servers are often down and there are just too little people on line to have a full battle.

 

There are also many noobs who can't turn their turret. :LOL:

We can all be happy they even decided to release codes like that, we still have much more chances that we normally would.

 

As for open testing, it is impossible for now. Servers are not stable enough yet, once they will be, and the game will be on a high enough level, the open testing will start. Developers are doing their best to make that happen ASAP.
