Yea, new colours for weapon shots. I'm thinking they may have added M's to the game if colours have been added. I'm still not 100%, will have to wait till YT videos come out.

It sucks not getting the invite code, after spending so much time on the Flash version. :P

      Hello everyone, I think that Tanki X is worse then Tanki online, The graphes for the game aren't the very best and I know it is only in beta, but it should have a lot more in it and i think it should be possible to play on websites. One feature I like about Tanki X and Tanki online is that you dont need to give personal info, you can make an account free and play anytime.

I'm trying to be patient but I'm also starting to wonder if it will ever come out. When they had the nickname transfer I thought it would finally be starting but that was over 2 months ago and still not much news since then. Please let us play soon, it looks so great.

You're right King_Rules, it is pretty rude of them. They've had nearly 6 months now and they're just teasing with cool game footage while leaving everyone hanging, Armored Warfare did the same thing last year and many people got sick of waiting and gave up, now they don't have enough players and it takes forever to get into a battle. Everyone should stop playing the original until Tanki X gets started, that would get them to speed things up.

So there is all the great news about TankiX Beta testing and this made me realize that TankiX will be out soon. But what will happen to this tanki? Will this game remain. Because whats the point of buying OP turrets and hulls if you can't use them for long. If anyone knows if this tanki will stay, please contact/reply to this.

After the release of TankiX, nothing worse shall come to Tanki Online if the players continue to play TO also...

That means, TO will stay the same way, keep receiving updates, etc until the players show interest in it...You can invest your money in this game without any hesitation of it getting wasted here...

On another thread, I asked for clarity about transferal of account assets to Tanki X because of the very same reason.  They have declined to answer.  Which does make one wonder if ones investment is safe!  My own veiw is that I very much doubt it and as for the long term survival of this platform, I very much doubt that as well!

 

We shall have to see if you receive an answer!

That means, TO will stay the same way, keep receiving updates, etc until the players show interest in it...You can invest your money in this game without any hesitation of it getting wasted here...

Are they going to be using a completely different set of servers then, or use this one side by side with this failing one, complete with endless lag.  What do you think?

Because I very well remember what they said about the accounts transfer thing...

They said that currently, both the game have diverse economies, which reduces the ability to transfer accounts, BUT they also said that if they're not able to move your TO account to TX, they'll compensate you with as much as goodies possible...

And that obviously means that your money, that's invested in TO, will not get wasted even if you decide to move to TX in future...

Officially, there's no declaration about it, so I mustn't say anything...it might lead to rumours, you know.... :ph34r:

 

But all I can say is, that if people continue to show interest in TO, it will continue to develop...lags will be reduced on server's part, ofc..

Many have invested considerable amounts of time and money to achieve comfort in the game.

Robbing these loyal supporters in the Unity update (because Unity is clearly not a new game) in the event of no transfer, will discredit the devs so much that no one will actually pay further once you have been cheated so arogantly.

 

That is why there surely will be a transfer in one way or another - here is a quote of Mr S. Kirov:

I just want to draw your attention to one thing, guys. 

 

As Hazel said, it hasn't been decided yet whether current progress will be moved to the new version of Tanki or not. It's too early to tell. It will all depend on the economical system of the new game. And it's still being developed by Hazel and other game designers. 

 

When it is finished, rest assured we'll announce it in the forums and video blogs.

 

Guys, let me make one thing very clear — NOBODY intends to spit into players' faces. It will either be a complete transfer of current progress, or as many goodies as possible for old players. You guys helped Tanki get to where it is today, so we will not let you down. Rest assured.

Remember TO 2 was pending for 2 years before fading out ... why do you think that Unity will have a different fate ?
