Hello Guys,

I continued testing the TX. I got now Isida and Railgun.

  1. I agree that the Isida is (was, as I stopped playing with it for days now) overpowered.
It is quite difficult to aim with it to let the ray build up, but keeping the ray connected is much easier. I could even win some battles with it, and almost always ended up in the first 3.

  2. Railgun
I was surprised how difficult to aim with it. In TO I am quite good at it, but I have to re-learn the aiming and shooting in the TX. My feeling is that the Railgun is not as effective in the TX as in the TO, but not sure. It is not easy to play with similar level players in TX. I think the lot of DM battles are not the best for a Railgun player.

  3. I still believe the biggest issue with the TX is the fund sharing. I am demotivated to play that this way. Also I several times lost a nice share of fund due to game errors or instability (that is understandable in a Beta, on the other hand with a proportional fund sharing this would not be as penalizing as now).

Last but not least: Graphics.

If you want better gaming experience, less possibility for the enemies to be hidden in grass, not to be distracted by the lot of effects you play with Medium graphics level. This case the maps look quite similar to the current TO maps (lighter and more saturated - colorful).

I think the biggest improvement compared to TO is the hull movement and its interaction with the map details.

Ok so I finally got access to Tanki X. After my analysis. I say I would rather just play TO as Tanki X is too Boring right now in the closed beta stage.

Which isn 't very surprising, TX hasn 't got CTF yet which is by far the most popular gamemode.

And even more relevant is that TX is still in an early testing stage:

- if you want to be part of those tests: TX

- if you just want to play: TO

Enough said.

Hey guys just having doubt whether you guys playing on high graphics or low and are you lagging?

Hi,

I started on the highest on 2560x1440: excellent graphics, very bad motion due to lag

I switched to 1920x1024 and high graphics: playable on Rio and Sanbox, hardly playable on the Massacre with lag, only lag and not playable on Kungur. Also in these two modes the graphics help the enemy hide behind the explosion and smoke effects, or in the grass.

Then I started to play on Medium gr. level.

In this level the ground is quite similar to the TO, easier to aim and notice the tanks. The effects do not cover the scene behind, so the Medium is much better for the gaming experience. I am planning to try the low level.

In case there were some changes in the game, I would not even try to play in higher graphics than Medium.

I've just joined the TX beta. Do the devs want our feedback? If so, where - this forum? And what type - only bug reports or more subjective comments also?

The link to the TX Forum (and also the link where to download the client) can both be found in the same

post in which you 've received the invitation code.

At least that 's how it was and I suppose still is.

edit: and yes, they surely want our feedback like bug reports, opinions about the developing game etc.

Subjective ideas are welcome, but I guess it 's not going to get the most attention.

First they have to implement their own ideas and plans and get them to work as they are supposed too.

OS: Windows 7

Processor: Intel Core i5 2520M, 2.50 GHz

Memory: 6 GB RAM

Graphics: Intel HD graphics 3000

Low Graphics... I think I will stay on Flash Tanki.

I think with the needed requirements are to have 60fps with full graphics :D

With lower stats it will be just like... worse graphics, lower fps, etc.

It's similar for me, I got even worse PC than you, and many other does...

Hey, Tanki X will run fine in your PC. Mebbe a bit slower, but according to my calculations, you will get 35-55FPS on Unity. But I don't have to worry, I have Ubuntu 16.10, Windows 10, AND Mac OSX on the same PC which has amazing graphics, with a I9 Intel Core DevPreveiw.

The game was pretty good i think, but too much colors, tooo damn much :D i have tried it... Its like cartoon game.

You are right that it 's all very bright, and the only thing you can do about it right now is to dim your monitor a bit.

In the final release we can hopefully choose from different levels of brightness in the settings menu.

The more I play Tanki X, the more I don't like it.

The graphics, yes the are splinted, beautiful, amazing, years ahead of time, wot like, they are just too distracting. Like way to distracting. Everything is so bright graphic wise that it hurts my eyes after a while.

I was excited about TX, but now, I'll probably stick to TO. I have a feeling TO will stay popular, I've seen games where the new version failed and the original stayed strong. I have a feeling something similar will happen here.

This is just my opinion on it.

I hope you are right about TO. And I hope devs will not let the game fall apart. Because if there are lags and hackers, and no one to fix it, players will leave.
