I'm pretty sure I didn't see any developers make an announcement that said "Hey, tankers, your Flash accounts will not be transferred to Unity!"

 

Maybe I just didn't see that announcement.

System requirements for Tanki X:

 

Processor: Intel Core i3.

RAM: 4 Gigabytes of RAM.

Graphics: Intel HD graphics 4000.

OS: Windows, Mac, Linux, Andriod, and iOS.

 

With these specifications, you should receive a stable 40 frames per second in a full 10 versus 10 battle.

Theres a chance its a temporary name and they may hold a contest or something to name it. X would just be a variable in that case.

That is a definate possibility. Maybe the developer will have acontest on who comes up with best name then a vote. Maybe they just wanted a name tht was still similer to Tanki so that it woyld feel familier.

Just a few random questions:

 

Does anyone know how much they are using in-house graphics or tools vs. unity built in lighting/effects?

I am tempted to think that the lighting TankiX is almost to good for standard unity lighting (or they are using unity 5 realtime/baked GI).

 

 

Also will the glow of a heated tank light up the surroundings?

 

One more thing :)  When a tank explodes it seems like the force of that explosion pushes the hull and turret away, will the "shockwave" effect other tanks?

Hello fellow tankers! The release of Tanki X is approaching, and with it comes many questions that have not been answered yet. The following questions should either be discussed or answered below in the comments. Discuss pros, cons, and why or why not this should never be implemented. If you also have your own questions about the game, be sure to leave a comment! You might get an answer!

 

Question 1: Will a new way of communication be added? For example, will players be able to 'ping' other players, with the press of a button, and warn team mates about danger, the flag, needing assistance, or other things.

 

Question 2: Will a new balance system be added? Everyone knows that some turrets and hull are very overpowered at certain ranks, so will a new turret/hull balance be added for all ranks?

 

Question 3: Is the joining system going to be updated? It's really annoying finding a game where the team numbers are actually balanced.

 

Question 4: Will the economy of Tanki be changed in any way? At least three times this has been changed, so it wouldn't surprise me if it got changed again.

 

Question 5: How will E-Sports be affected by Tanki X?

 

Question 6: And lastly, will new power-ups be added, or will existing ones be changed?

There should be a grenade launcher. Or...a mine launcher. If mine misses target then it just sits on ground like a ussual mine. Then we could do parkoir even better! Or shoot across a gap and do things that are impossible in TO.

Answers to some of ShortyMC's questions to the best of my abilities:

 

1: Probably not, that is too complicated

 

2: Maybe, but I they are always working on that for tanki (It would probably affect both games)

Overall the new tanki should just be regular tanki with better graphics and physics, that is what they are hoping to do.

A lot of people think that Tanki X will release in 2015.

But I think that is not true:

1. Go to the website of the new game. (www.tankix.com/en/)
2. Scroll down to the bottom, and click: Download press-kit, or just click this link:http://tankix.com/files/Tanki%20X%20-%20EN%20press%20kit.zip
3. After that, you open the file and double click on Press kit (en).
4. Then you click Game & developer info.docx.
5. You will see this at the top of the document that you just opened;

Name: Tanki X

Genre: MMO Action

Release date: Q1 2016

Price: Free-to-play

Platforms: PC (Windows, MacOS, Linux)

As you can see, it says: Release date: Q1 2016.

That means it doesn't release in 2015, but in the first quarter of 2016...

It's the public release date of the final version of TankiX. Don't worry, there is a great possibility that the beta version - which is for  test, by the way - will be released before 2016. If you've signed up on tankix.com, that means you have a reservation to take part in that test.
