Was it the installer version of the client? (Did the client directly install or did you get an installer?)

What are you talking about?

Can you give me the correct link?

That won't be required. Downloading the latest version will solve his problem.

First Impressions:

1. Huge upgrade on graphics.

2. Saturation level is a bit high but you can manage it in settings (kudos to Tanki).

3. Lacking in many things when compared to TO (I'm afraid this is not the final version :( )

4. Got a Spectator Mode for everyone

5. Finally a Client based game (browser & Standalone suck)

6. Can't see other tank when fighting 1 on 1 (this is a big area which needs to be worked upon in my opinion).

7. Controlling the tank is bit difficult (compared to TO).

Overall : Tanki has done a commendable job!!! :)

BTW finally I'm a CB tester!!! (Can't wait to receive the goodies!!! :P )

Heuheuheu.... Glad I could help. Btw, make sure to link your account to a valid email id in order to take part in CBQ.

Is there any detailed guide on Tanki X (which includes some new things compared to TO such as Mastery Level, etc.)?

Unfortunately, no. But it's being worked upon. Edited by beaku

Enter the game, go to your profile(a7b45300bba9497881bb0102d1054260.jpg) and then go to email settings. Insert your email adress. You will receive a code, which you'll need to enter.

Any guess will we be able to achieve the target of 10000000 kills? ("A new map from TO)

It's the matter of day. At this point, there are almost 200 000 kills per day. (Currently we have 8,9 mil kills - TX Quest) so it will be done soon.

One question: Why is Railgun too underpowered in TX?

Personally, i think that it's because how the Tanki X works. Driving and turning turret feels a bit dizzy in comparison with Tanki Online. Railgun's damage feels similar as in TO, but it is lot harder to hit the target (my opinion).

Anyone?

The TX Railgun is different from the version in TO that we're used to. It reloads more quickly, but it has lower damage and has lost the ability to reliably destroy medium hulls like Viking and Hunter in 2 shots. It's now more powerful against light hulls, however it doesn't do so well against medium or heavy hulls.

Anyone?

As Tkp said, the balance of weapons in TX is different from that in TO so you'll have to get a bit used to it. If you go by majority, thunder is pretty OP turret at the moment. Edited by beaku

I think the turret balance at the moment is OK for the most part, but some things need tweaking.

  1. Firebird: I think it's underpowered. If you don't have a light hull, it's basically useless since the effective range is incredibly low. The afterburn looks pretty but is functionally useless since it cools off ridiculously fast. I once was attacked by a Hunter-Firebird as a Hunter-Smoky on Silence in the middle part, and I basically backed off for the entire length of the map staying at the edge of this guy's flame. I managed to destroy him with more than half of my health left. I don't remember even M0 Firebird being that weak in TO.
  2. Freeze: Similarly kind of underpowered. In TO, you can snag someone at the edge of Freeze's range and then close the distance, but that doesn't seem to happen very often in TX. Damage is also kind of lacking.
  3. Isida: Has the lock-on of the original Isida and excellent range. Once you're caught, good luck trying to escape. I don't think it's that overpowered at the moment, the Isidapocalypse seems to have passed.
  4. Hammer: Not super popular. It seems to be alright, but it's currently overshadowed by Thunder.
  5. Twins: Not too different from the TO version. Seems to be in a good spot.
  6. Ricochet: ^
  7. Vulcan: Not very popular for some reason. Seems to be alright.
  8. Smoky: In a good spot. Compared to TO, the standard shots do more damage and the critical hits are weaker. It also shoots significantly more quickly. The starter tank is still Hunter-Smoky, but even the stock Smoky is no longer as painful to use as M0 Smoky in TO.
  9. Thunder: Probably the most popular turret in the beta testing right now, almost as much as Railgun if not more. It packs a serious punch, doesn't seem to lose much damage with range, and carries a lot of impact force. Might be a tad bit overpowered, I think the impact force should be turned down a notch.
  10. Railgun: Lower damage and faster reload means that it's extra strong against light hulls, weak against medium and heavy hulls. It's fun to use and is useful for spamming penetrating shots from across the map, but it's no longer a guaranteed double shot against Hunters and Vikings. Against light hulls, it's good enough that you can use it for direct combat.
  11. Shaft: Very finicky in scope mode for some reason. Maybe it's just because I get low FPS on my computer, but it's choppy and doesn't always go where you want it to. My FPS also tanks during scope mode. Otherwise quite similar to the Shaft in TO.
